20-18: My favorite alts of theirs are duets so I just picked something 17: the one I use but I'm eh on the song in general 16-13: I like these, but the regular Sekai ver or a different alt is my preferred way to listen to these songs 12: Not sure if I prefer this solo or the Sekai ver tbh, am currently using it tho 11-1: ones I actually use

What the duets I like more are Tsukasa: 88☆彡 (with Nene) Saki: from Y to Y (with Shiho) Nene: Chururira (with Tsukasa) Sticking to just solos to show off everyone's voices better meant those were ineligible, but they are my actual favorite alts for each of them.

YOURE SO CORRECT ABOUT HARUKA SHOUJO REI, ITS SUCH A GOOD COVER!!!! My personal favourite Haruka cover is The earth’s final confession, it’s godly but every Haruka cover is amazing, her voice is pretty underrated imo

Dang, if only 10k subs waited a bit to happen. Honami's alt of When the Asagao Falls is SO GOOD. I'd probably place it at #12, between Akito Airhead and An Alter Ego. Honami deserves way more respect than the fandom gives her (she's on the bottom of so many vocalist ranking videos that my playlist maker has actually made a playlist of every video she's found where Honami's in last place).

Mafuyu Usseewa is amazing, I love her voice in more intense songs. I also use the alien version of doctor funk beat. Just sounds so good!

Woah, we have really similar tastes! I thought I was the only one who really liked Ena MKDR and Shoujorei Haruka and Milk Crown Minori and Voices Shiho and Kohane Awake Now (over Beat Eater, since it seems EVERYONE loves that solo best, even tho imo, she slays better in Awake Now). It's too bad all my favorite solos haven't hit EN yet. Oh well, it'll be worth the wait :)

I’m so glad that Ichika’s Yoru ni Kakeru is your top pick for the song. I think it’s tied for my favorite with Kanade’s (weird choice I know), and it definitely sounds the best as an actual cover to the song but I do like Kanade’s more emotional take on the song. Everyone seems to love Nene’s alt but imo it’s either my least favorite or second least favorite, it doesn’t really sound all that good aside from a few parts of the song because of the way Nene shapes her notes sometimes being very hit-or-miss with different songs.

Fun fact: only 5 of the songs here are also in the Viewer version of this video ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpS3dqqcn9OJm7s ), and one of those is the 2nd place Mafuyu song I included because of Bug's divisiveness. Even more, most of them ranked fairly differently in relation to who was higher or lower than a given character. Basically, I guess I'm a contrarian to the general fandom lol

I can respect Mafuyu Usseewa, but hear me out. I have her alt on for Composing the Future/Future Written in Regret/Kuyamu to Kaite Mirai and. Oh my gosh she sounds so good in that. I originally set it to get the Cover Artist title and I haven't changed it since... at first because I forgor and now because I just like it so much, her voice really brings out the emotion in the song so well. (I did listen to the snippets of everyone before picking Mafuyu and boy howdy I made the right choice, she's so good...) Need to actually spend those cover cards I have in my backlog, though. Get everyone the best ones I can find for their voices (read: NOT otome kaibou everyone being forced into their highest octaves did them SO dirty). I am slightly picky about how I listen to peoples' covers and the emotions they put in; heck knows it's true with CH4NGE, so I will take my time. I've got a while before my energy refills after gaming anyway, they'll get the good ones if I don't do what I did at release and just buy the few they had at the time (and I play with Virtual Singer versions 85-90% of the time when they're an option... Glory Steady Go is an exception- I just love how everyone does in that!! Also, Fragile and Buriki no Dance: or songs with extra high VS. My sensory issues just say no.)

It’s because I only really like her duet alts tbh and this is a solos video. I play with her Chururira and Goodbye Sengen, but again, those are duets and ineligible for a solos theme. Saki and Tsukasa also suffer from “I like duets better”, that’s why they’re the lowest 3.

I generally don’t like Journey that much. Also best Journey is Kohane’s. I wish I could like the Fixer alt more because he sounds so good in the duet. Truly, if that alt didn’t have that weird issue he’d probably be either 12th or 11th. I bet a Love Ka solo would rank well too.

My new favorite of hers is the Asagao solo. I’m not really a slow song person, but her vocals are so good! I really wish it released sooner so I could factor it into this. Same with Kanade’s Mairieux tbh- the alts they’ve been dropping lately have been so chef kiss.
