On console I just bind the praise key to the same as reload key, which is x. this way I can praise when ever and never have to use treats and I'm always at 3 hearts

It could make sense to have both a Retriever/Tracker and a Tracker/Retriever, since for the secondary job you don't get to pick the perks. I personally don't want to bother leveling that many jobs, but it does technically have some use.

As you said in the end that there is no need to have them doubled, like bloodhound+retriever and retriever+bloodhound, there is actually difference because you cant improve his second trait. I tried bloodhound+retriever combo for duck hunting, but retriever+bloodhound is way better. Bloodhound will be always best at tracking blood trails, even if your labrador will be maxed in tracking. Bloodhound can take shortcuts (if u pick that skill), but labrador or pointer cant and they will follow animal as it run. Same goes for all other dogs. To have bloodhound as retriever can not be enough if u shoot a lot of ducks especially on Salzwiessen park. For grinds I use bloodhound + retriever, for ducks retriever + bloodhound and for just wandering in forest its pointer with bloodhound. 45k in game dollars is not much. btw also good location for leveling pointer is in Yukon if you go to the station where forest was burnt (mission) then you can even level up pointer on searching for moose and bisons - he can point up to 300m so u dont have to even move. When he is pointing to herd animal, you can just call him off (heel command) and immediately you set him to search sometimes he will point at different animal from same herd and if you are lucky he can point on all animals withing same herd so its super fast - sometimes he just point at same animal over and over so you wont get any XP for him. Problem I find with ducks is small animals he point at 25m so if duck lands further away from you dog will just wait for owner and you have to go out of blind which will flush animal.

How do I hunt ducks because when I hunt geese or ducks the map goes to dead zone after 4 kills and then I have to move every time how do u hunt them

tips : download animal population scanner mod . Since many years i was searching something wich didn't exist and it was a waste of time. Now, you can see if you have a diamond on your map and start to hunt it , same for my first great One.

I came THIS close to buying the game on sale, but the amount of DLC held me back. I've got no problem with paying for extra reserves, but stuff like nightvision and tripods should be free DLC. Then there's the fact that any COTW "creator" is using DLC weapons and a dog, so I was worried if I'd even have fun with the base game. The buy-in is too big for me. I won't be playing this game any time soon, but I watched a few of your videos in the meantime. Happy hunting!
