My nephew alilalishwa but in the nick of time aliamka then he jumped through that ka_small window iko kwa toilet . He landed head first and made for the fence. Lucky enough, the sniper was facing the gate while he was running in the opposite direction. We thank God for rescuing him. May the souls of the departed rest in power.

So sad. I vividly remember this day. As a former 1 pale Garissa high school (a kilometre from the University) niliamshwa na dorm captain so that I can go to mosque for morning prayers. Exactly 5:27am nikikojoa outside the dormitory nilisika mlio wa risasi. Quatre an hour later I could see hundreds of students amongst ladies with only bikini and bra bila viatu who luckily survived from the shameful incident wakipita next to our school fence.

You know why this is so emotional to me? I was in a top hotel in Garissa at the same time the planners are said to have been in the same hotel. Two days after I left, they hit the institution. Wait, it was truly God's grace that we are all alive. We have danger all around us. God protects us. I feel very sad for those that left us. I identify personally with each of the victim.

The recce squad guy that died was not shot, jamaa mwenye alikua sniper ndo alimrukia na explosives. Imagine they had so much time that even uyo sniper ran out of ammo na bado reinforce bado hajafika. Lastly there was also another lady alikua kwa hostel she was rescued on the third day akiwa amejifungia kwa closet na akajifunika na manguo, she survived by drinking lotion. Great story telling as always
