Good to see you back on YT Brian. Look forward to some more when you feel creative and/or opinionated. I love all your vids, but the rants are priceless. Cheers!

Hi Brian, great vlog. Looks like you had a good time. It's been years since I've skied on Mt Snow, Vermont. This brings back memories.

That is some really beautiful footage, but I have to say that skiing absolutely terrifies me - I am sure that if I tried it I would either die or break something. I actually spent three months in and around Winter Park, Colorado and never once got on skis. Maybe it's enjoyable to some people, but it looks very scary to me.

Absolutely beautiful -- and in spots dangerous. A surgeon I worked with hit a tree going through a woods like the one you showed. He'd have died but for his friend (a surgeon) doing an teach right on the spot. Completely crushed his face and jaw.

+Joe Kersey yikes! Glad he's got help quick! You should always ski with a buddy when you go off trail, for that exact reason.

I happened to be at Lake Tahoe the day Sonny Bouno (of Sonny & Cher fame) hit a tree head on and killed himself. Trees don't have much give.

Thankfully, only about 40 skiers die per year out of many millions, and most of those 40 average deaths come from skiing out of bounds, where avalanches are not mitigated. A small few hit trees and die. Unfortunately, there have been many high-profile skiing deaths like Sonny Bono's which can make skiing seem more dangerous than it actually is.

Pro grade photography in this video....loves it. In fact I'm gonna watch another couple of times. Do you like Telluride CO or Big Sky Montana better?
@lafond667 жыл бұрын
Thanks! That's a hard one... Telluride was also pretty amazing and I loved the town vibe which is something that Big Sky lacks, however the terrain at Big Sky was arguably better and much much larger.
