Then have a listen to Hans Zimmer's 'The Last Samurai' movie score. One of the best movie scores ever, in my opinion.

This track reminds me every time what a violent life I personally had back then and how well I'm doing now. How much happiness God gives me every day. A small piece of happiness is this track - thank you!

Not a violinist, but a violist. Why is the viola so often forgotten? Its sound is so much deeper, in the range of the human voice. But who really cares: beautiful, I can't stop listening to that tune.

Maybe I am first to comment this, but it is not important for me ! Important for me is that, I knew Ólafur Arnalds since he wrote introludes for Heaven Shall Burn and he became one of the most inspirational artist in music industry...He and his music is so touching, so beautiful, it brings you to tears and it fills you with joy, with happiness and so on.......thank you Mr. Arnalds for your music, for your passion, your creativity....hat down before you !

The way the music focus is passed around the room to each instrument is truly sublime. Ólafur you are a true master of the art of music. You may it look so easy, but it is so powerful and emotional stirring and thus beautiful to listen to and experience.

Still moves us as it did that Summer when we followed Island Songs, waiting for the weekly releases x and then we saw Olafur at the Albert Hall in London. Wow, what an experience that was 💖 I remember his words when he expressed what a moment that was for him and how he was feeling. Moved, very moved x

This is beyond amazing and for sure my favorite Island Song so far. I love how each layer just falls into place so perfectly and builds up so much at the same time. I love the emotion that's projected through each musicians face; you can tell each and every one of them feels the music. Every single note is chosen so perfectly and literally contrives the perfect sound. Every single moment of this piece is perfect, and I'm not just saying that. Each part is like a different emotion that comes in and shows different entities to the story, or song. I love it. You are simply amazing Olafur and a true composer at that.
