I watched Broadchurch when it first came out. I have watched season 1 at least fifteen times since. It's so important to me. I had a beautiful little daughter and used to have magical days out with her on the Dorset coast. When I lost her, through the collapse of my relationship with her mother, I spent the entire year on those beaches, tears rolling down my face in the rain while trying to feel her next to me just by being on those same beaches. None of it was the same. Nothing is. Broadchurch and the loss of a child speak to me and have become a vital comfort to me through the tragedy. Ólafur's music and the cinematography move me to tears regularly, but I need that. Thank you for writing the perfect score to a perfect piece of television.

That made my heart thunder. The tension lasted so long, and the music had these glimmering, barest hints of the Broadchurch score, and when the melody finally arrived in full at the end--it was like lifting off, taking flight. I love this so much.

@miashaw15993 жыл бұрын
@@bluebell8557 the show is incredible, the dynamic between the main chatacters, portrayed by David Tennant and Olivia Coleman is outstanding, the storyline leaves you gripped until the end, the acting is phenomenal, the setting is just beautiful and the storyline never hits a point where it is boring, the first 2 seasons are on KZbin they’re free and the quality is brilliant, the show without giving too much away is beautifully written and is mysterious to a point where you don’t trust anyone, the show is very serious but at the same time there is comedy between the 2 main characters and the chemistry is incredible, character development is very clear too, I hope this convinced you, I would usually be honest and tell you if something was bad but imo there was nothing at all wrong with the show, I would defo recommend 👍🏻👍🏻
@miashaw15993 жыл бұрын
@@bluebell8557 it is based on the murder of a young boy, and 2 detectives are trying to solve the case, and it’s a case of everyone being linked in some way and they have to uncover the truth, I don’t want to say too much, there is 3 seasons and the first 2 seasons are linked, 8 episodes each and the last season is linked with some storylines but is a different case which is also very good, I would defo recommend

I always resented the crying skies Soft drops of the heavens Hiding the sun I loved Daily I waited eternity for reunion In the year of my silent blossoming My heart could not settle A helpless rage Unconsented laughter An invisible cage ...the drops would not falter... I fell into the salted waters Embraced by my tears In the quiet waves The angels whispered "He will answer, he hears" He answered with you I recognized the same gaze to an empty horizon As I surfaced, gasping for life My soul knew what had to happen Forever has stopped for a time We rode to the Town of Wanderers Bathed once more, yet in warmth Only us two, walking among the covered others The angels cried in joy, entwined our arms On lost nights I find myself wandering that street Asking those gray skies I've come to love Rain For the sun has come down to me at last
