I thought the wood plate was supposed to go on the inside of the box,

After this, you're certainly not wanting for table space! I also noticed that you applied the snap together waterproof wood flooring in the garage area, where you had put down the rubber mat? Well, if the stuff is pet and kid proof, I suppose it's bike proof, and of course there's that all-important "Core Tech Technology." Quote of the day: "She's laughing because I'm hilarious." Yes we ended up pulling up the rubber matting... it just wasn’t as durable as the flooring... everything we but from now on will have “Core Tech Technology “ !!! I don’t know what it is or what it does but at least it’s expensive!

What type of wood did you use for the lagun table top, thickness? Thanks.

We used a 3/4 inch walnut plywood and then added walnut veneer to the edges. Sealed it up with a clear gloss polyurethane. We like the 3/4 because it’s less weight than the average 1 1/2 think tops you normally see and we think it still looks good!

I love y'all's build and everything looks great. But I'm confused as to why you didn't flip the counter extension around the other way so that it's grain matched.

By the time we noticed it was attached and we didn’t take it off to flip it! Thanks for watching though! Now I’ll be seeing it every time I flip it up for sure! LOL
