This is a great Pegasus review. The only issue I had was I can get constant speed at all power levels. But I used to ride motorcycles exclusively so my experience may be different. I only mention it because your review is so good I hope anyone interested will see it.

I believe I can help you with your poor power curve Mr. Hover. A few weeks ago I watched a review of the Varla Pegasus on a scooter channel going by the name of RK9 Rides. In he video he had the same negativity you appear to poses towards the seemingly lackluster power curve of the Pegasus. It turns out that in the manual, it discusses a P setting by the name of Pedal Assist Acceleration from 0, or something like that, it is marked as do not tamper with, perhaps it may shorten the lifespan of the scooter, but if turned up, your acceleration problem should be solved. (I also love your videos keep up the great work) 👍

Regarding the complaint about jerky throttle at low speeds, like when walking your dog, you may find it better to switch to single motor mode. That's what I do on my Pegasus when I want to have smoother low speed control. Switching to PAS 1 will also help. For anyone not familiar with how to switch to single motor, just press and hold the down arrow until the display changes from "SPEED MAX" to just "SPEED".

With all due respect, please note the following. My gas bike videos will continue to come out regularly. They are what I love. But the gas bike hobby is small. Expanding into other forms of 'micro transportation' keeps the channel growing. As a nice side effect, people who never knew about the gas bike hobby have been finding my videos and building gas bikes.
