Oh well, welcome to the world of voice controlled everything. I remember my first echo (2018), and I only had one smart switch to turn off my light. lol 😆 now I have 11+ echos and over 20 devices to control. The echos are definitely a part of my daily life now, lol 😆

Would you say the sound quality is as good as the echo dot 5th gen?

As far as I know, the Dot would be better quality because of its 1.7" Lossless High Definition speaker. But the Show 8 will fill up a larger room with its 2" duel stereo speakers and larger bass.

It would be Better or Somewhat even Performance with the 5th Gen DOT having The Clock.. But the Bigger 5th Gen ECHO without The Clock Is Better Bigger Sound Then Both Show 8-2nd & The Clock DOT🙂 however I Guarantee You'll Still be more then happy with a SHOW 8 2nd Ed.. Because its a Total Package..IT Sounds Good + IT Adds Visuals To the Game & ITS So Cool,..And well Thought Out Creation,.=Loaded with Features, 🙂
