All intentional by our govt, in the name of population control, and being able to control us in general. Being able to be in less pain is an important thing for us, and the fact that the govt controls the flow of opiates, and is trying to outlaw things like kratom, which is a much safer alternative, is very telling of what is happening. I know this seems like a crazy conspiracy theory, but I know it to be true.

There is no opioid epidemic. You're falling for propaganda. I can guarantee that you don't understand addiction or drug use. Did you know that most overdoses of opiates are directly linked to mixing them with other drugs? You are not helping people by imprisoning them. That's the dumbest shit ever.

Im a 17 year old. when my brother was 14, i was about 8, and he started popping xans and doing shit, and within a year and a half he was addicted to perc and oxy, and by the time he was my age him and his friends were shooting speedballs daily (crack and heroine in a needle). He overdosed countless times, ruined his life, went to dozens of rehabs. For the past almost like 3 years now, hes been sober, thank god. But to hear this guy describe his terrible addiction, and knowing he never even shot up, kinda puts into new light about what my brother must have had to go through to get the point where he is now. He doesn't talk about it much and I dont see him often anymore, so I wasnt really sure about the toll the addiction must have took on him mentally. Really insightful video, thanks

Opiates are a mellow thing. I had an operation and the doctor prescribed some opiates to alleviate the pain. Man, it was like dating the girl you had a crush on when you were young. I felt real good from head to toe. It was like the entire world suddenly smiled at me. Afterwards I was really proud of myself for the way I dealt with my rehab, like I was even cracking jokes and stuff. It was all chemically induced bliss. I know it was not the real thing. @WaVy Crockett #JizzBoss since im takin tilidin (not common in usa) against my chronic pain i consciously let that happen. Then i make pause for weeks to month's and take it again. To me ppl having that much trouble with withdrawals acting as it's a disease don't know what a whole life in pain is. Not saying that it's the easiest thing to quit but if one really wants it it's not that big of a problem. Worst time are the first few days up to a week when u really go crazy 😄
@yooooodennis4 жыл бұрын
@WaVy Crockett #JizzBoss Yes also the way of consuming makes a difference. 4 example if i do liquid my tolerance goes up fast and the withdrawals become intense (but also don´t take as long). If i take tabletts it doesn´t peak as fast and lasts longer. And i can imagine since shooting heroin peaks alot higher the withdrawals also get way heavier. Although i thank god 4 opioids since they don´t damage your organs and i can take them everyday.

@@yooooodennis lol yeah I remember "withdrawing" from Valtran.... if it were that easy (basically a bit of a flu and a low depression for about 2 weeks with.. and I hesitate to even call them this now, but *some* 'cravings'.. then I would agree with you that it isn't that much trouble at all. On the other hand precipitated withdrawal after getting up to 3 gr fentanyl a day completely shattered my concept of what is "difficult" and just how fucking miserable life can get... but hey you pause for weeks on tilidin so what does anyone else know about 'having that much trouble with withdrawals' lol
@yooooodennis4 жыл бұрын
@@CatsRidingHorses I'm thinking about if there's a point of dependence where one wouldn't get "normal" anymore at all and needs a bit of opioids for the rest of life? Incorrect information there, OPIATE's are derived from the poppy flower ie. codeine and morphine being the most known, and OPIOID's are the synthetic/semi synthetic medications made in a lab. Heroin is technically an opiate because morphine is mixed with other chemicals to make diacetylmorphine or diamorphine (heroin). All of these fall under the "opioid" category (any drug that works with the opioid receptors in the brain) but only morphine and codeine are true "opiates". Just thought i'd offer the correct information for those interested.

I celebrated 4 years in Feburary....one of the most difficult, painful, wonderful and most beautiful things I've ever had to do. I thank god everyday I got to have a second chance cause I know a lot of people didnt make it. so much love and prayers to those who are struggling with an addiction, know someone who is, and all those we lost along the way❤🙏🤙

Wow. I'm a recovered attic, and you mentioned how attics feel like they've never really felt like the fit in, or they're the odd one out. I relate to that 100 percent. To this day I have no friends. I hang out with no one. Like literally. I sit at home every night alone, and haven't had a text or call in months. Not one. In fact my phone rang the other day and I jumped. ( was a Telemarketer) if you consider that a call.

Same. It wasn't until recently in my recovery that i discovered that a lot of opiate addicts get compartment syndrome from nodding off and staying in the same position for too long causing you to lose circulation in a limb or other body part. I remember the worst time for me was when i nodded off with my ankle bent in an odd way and when i came to my whole ankle was blown up, super swollen and black and blue like i had a really bad strain. Didn't realize how lucky i was with that until i read that.
