Totally disagree : I don't care if the DJ don't touch a knob, I'm not here to see a musician playing with filter, I just wanna hear a good set and forget there's a DJ. Good DJs understand that. By the way, I don't like this set because he plays too much with filter and effects and it ruins the groove.

like the man said in the beginning. the true art of DJ'ing is not having a planned out set from track to track and never diverting. he came on this ship with 5k tracks and is being a true dj! something you would never understood because you are not a dj... a true dj and ones who have respect for djs will understand and appreciate this set. laptop dj's are the worst!

Jeremy Horvath The true art of DJing is to make people dance and bring them from A to Z by giving them maximum pleasure. I could understand that even if I wasn't DJ. Then, it's not because I don't like this set that I have no respect for this DJ. In the same way that a writer may not like the style of another: nothing to do with a lack of respect. I saw a lot of laptop DJ's mixing better than that.

I get it I mean, changing the song every minute, with scratching and looping and all the fun, but I think transitions should be smooth anyway, no matter the style of mixing. I think there's no excuse for that. It's not easy making an arrangement for only one song in the studio, so mixing live should have the same goal, which is some kind of natural flow, no matter the way you do it.

Even with mistakes Laidback Luke is one of my favorite DJs to see playing because he is always doing something, playing with FX without exaggerating, using acapellas, doing scratches... he never stops! And you can clearly see that he is also having a lot of fun, which is awesome. Deserves a lot of respect!
