5:12... Similarly in Sindhi poetry of Sasui-Punhu immortal lovestory we have the lines "...Punhu thiyas paan, sasui tan sur hua.." Which translates to 'in searching for my beloved Punhu, i myself have become Punhu..' It's written by the greatest Sindhi Sufi poet Shah Abdul Latif bhitaai (from medieval Indian history). In most of his poetry, especially of the 7 immortal heroines (and their love story), he has given the message of Ishq-Majazi (Worldly love) is the staircase to the final Ishq-Haqiqi (Immortal out of this world love with God himself)...in many Indian poetry we find the same thread, be it the nandanars of South India, or Mira Bai getting absorbed in Krishna's idol or in Sindhi, Punjabi, Gujarati all poetry... That's why it's said, Sufism may have been born outside Indian borders, but it reached it's literary and spiritual zenith or peak in India along with the intertwining of Bhakti movement, poetry, Indian classical music and dance (especially kathak)

True Love doesnt exist in the modern world (except in rare cases).......just one or 2 visit to family courts .....feelings about true love ( heer ranjha type love ,laila majnu type love ) evaporates in the court premises itself......been there done that for my neighbour
@theyetti906 ай бұрын
It's not that true love doesn't exist today, we're just stupid. 😂 Also, true love isn't broadcasting itself on KZbin for everyone to see. Stupidity is though.

All the hate comments because the story of true love is Laila majnu not radha and kirshna it is awful that how hateful indian are towards Muslims or Islam where as Muslims are not,pathetic! People full of hatred yet listening to a story of true love which is beyond religions so as spirituality
@prajayghogare9584 Жыл бұрын
No all indians are hateful towards Musilim and those who are , aren't indians they are propoganda people which are sent by someone to make complit btw religion for there own political narrative Soo plz don't generalise it 😅

You need to get a life and stop equating Hindu gods with Arabian folklore. Comments like yours incite hate when Hindus see the name of their Gods dragged. As for haters, they'll keep hating.

@@amanshil2910 who said that? Don't talk without knowing the history
@ophelia2082 ай бұрын
The poet actually is considered to be a famous poet of persian literature. The Persian literature is widely spread in central Asia Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and some of the Balkan regions etc. So what I think he meant was Nizami is from Persian literature and not the place he was born I.e Azerbaijan. It's like how Amir Khusrow was born in modern day UP but is also considered as Indo-Persian sufi musician/poet/singer/composer.

May be laila majnu is arab version of some indian poetry, because i knw very beautiful islamic laws when woman gets merris they will be r a p e no matter what, and poetrys are tabu in islam , because as much as i know this tale is around 2nd or 3 rd khalifa , so it's sounds more like arabic version of indian or persian poetry
