I'm here actually for Sav Madigan (mandolin/guitar/violin/vocals) who I have been enthusiastically following since 2018 and her other excellent musical pursuits. While I'm not a fan of most country music, Lainey seems like a genuinely cool artist who writes great songs and performs dynamically and from the heart. I'm very happy to see Lainey's star rising, and it's great to see Sav adding her musical skills to a very solid band. Kudos to all, and of course to all the fine folks at NPR Tiny Desk who continue to knock it out of the park!!
