Thanks for keeping the video real! Most of the videos I see are just too perfect. My hair type is not the easiest to style naturally. I want to use minimum styling product and maybe even none if I can help it, so seeing how hair-dos are done IRL, even for a pro like you, removes a lot of barrier for me to try them out and see what really works for me. It's so pretty!! I do a version of this hairstyle all the time, I just start with 2 low pony tails so it sits much lower . I usually do a 3 strand braid but I will def try your twisting next time...

I’ve been meaning to try this for a while but finally did tonight. I braided instead of twisting, and I forgot the bit about not leaving the loops too long. I just crossed it through again. My hair is down to my butt, so I have a ton of it. This hairstyle held up all night through vigorous dancing. Will definitely do it again, perhaps the right way next time😂

Yes!! 100%. Curling your hair will give the appearance of more fullness & texture. You could do heatless curls the night before (that would help too and save you time!). And they definitely don't make boy bands like they used to LOL!
