Both are very pretty. I actually like your version(s) better than the celebrity one. I sort of do a rough version of the second. Sometimes I twist and clip my hair in back leaving a couple inches of loose hair on top. My hair is naturally wavy/curly so I just let the extra hair fall freely.

Love 'em both - but on the first one, my guess would be she used either a clip in hair piece or 2-3 clip in wefts. My hair is kinda thin on top so I like to add some clip in extensions to give it more volume on top. Just a guess...

Both are very nice! #1 seems more secure for being active. I'm guessing her hair is shorter, was curled before being twisted and a lot of teasing and hairspray was involved. I would opt for either depending on how active I was going to be.

I do love the hair do that you are trying to re-create. I have not tried it yet because I was trying to think of other possible ways to recreate this. One thought I had was perhaps with the remainder hair at the top (after the french twist is all pinned in place), I wonder if you put a clear elastic in, tease the hair, and do a topsy tail, and pull some strands out... ???? or perhaps a few mini topsy tails??

Hi Lainey, I have a situation here I was wondering what I should do with my hair as I never know what to do with it anymore. I don’t know if I should just get it cut because if I cut my hair it would not be long enough for me do any braids in my hair, or if add some layers in my hair and worried that I will have some hairs sticking out of my hairstyles what do you think I should do?

From someone who did layers last year and regretted layers immediately, don't do layers Lol. Actually, I take that back. If you basically just wear your hair down, then layers are great. But when you try to do different hairstyles, put your hair in a ponytail, or do braids, then you have hairs popping out everywhere and it's not fun :( I'd say just chop it evenly and it will be back to long in no time!
