You do messy best! I never knew there could be technique involved in creating a messy bun, I'd just grab a handful of hair and sometimes get lucky. I love having so many options for when things aren't going well, and to maximize cuteness, hold, etc. I think #2 is my fave; I saw it on a short and have been hooked on your videos, ever since. My hair is long like yours, and it's HEAVY AF. I always start off trying to make my bun as high as possible, it always wants to slide down, and it's so heavy, I can feel it pulling on my roots. The bun just won't stay put. I end up having to take my hair down bc it's painful and gives me a headache.

Do you have any suggestions for someone with very long but very fine hair? I've tried the ones here but I just don't seem to have the volume to "fill in the gaps" no matter which technique I try. I've even tried starting with an extra small first bun to leave as much length to try to bulk it up, but it still just looks... not right... not pretty like yours at all. Please, any suggestions? Or maybe even a new video addressing this kind of issue?

When my hair was thinner, I’d clip in two extensions from Sally’s into my ponytail before I did my messy buns to give me more thickness! 4th one would be super cute as a ponytail. Thanks for watching ☺️💗

I never use Bobby pins! My hair is too thick. I just use another scrunchy to hold the ends in place or tuck the ends into the band I already have holding the original ponytail. 😀

So I've come to the realization that my hair texture (or lack there of 😅) is very different than most KZbin hair vids and I STRUGGLE with these because of it. SO I literally stopped doing the exact way you're doing it and just tried it my own way but with your tips and I finally got it. What takes 1 minute was taking me 1 hour and I was going nuts! I finally was able to do bun #3, but barely lol. I basically did everything the opposite direction, tighter, and with more bobby pins. Maybe I need some kind of hair product?? Because my hair is just way too slick/thick/straight to do virtually anything but a ponytail or French braid and even then I am constantly fixing it throughout the day. Yikes! 😂🤷‍♀️🥴
