Lake Allatoona - In The Golden Hour | Cinematic 4K Drone Film

I believe the next best thing to filming at sunrise or sunset is filming in the golden hour. The light is still soft and it's also fairly quiet and peaceful. This is the seventh film I have produced from Lake Allatoona. There are just so many scenic views on the north end of the lake that I just can't get enough of them.

Yes. Go to pretty places and try to share what you are seeing. That's what it breaks down to. Cinematic music doesn't hurt either.

It's become my go to place, but I am also expanding my horizons into other locations. I was in the Tennessee mountains last week and captured some great stuff. Thank you for the positive comment! Keep watching for more.

Nice video. Were you using ND filters? Usually, if I'm flying from Red Top, I'm out chasing boats.

Thanks! I do use ND filters. At first light and at sunrise, I usually don't have any filters on. As the sun comes up, I'm gradually adding them depending on how bright it is.

I have this drone but haven't used it much and haven't really gotten it's full potential, are you using cinema mode here?

I do use cine mode in some situations, but most of the time I am flying in normal mode. The additional speed in these large landscapes helps give me more visual movement. It's been a process of experimentation over time. The more you fly, the more you will learn. Of course, KZbin videos help too.
