Hello, I saw on your channel you have a bunch of nature and diving videos. Were any of them shot at lake Baikal?
@ArtyomfromSiberia Жыл бұрын
@@linconnueseine3477 videos with diving were taken in the black sea, and the pacific ocean. Water of Baikal is too cold to swim there without special equipment)

It isn't Lake "Bagel". It's Lake ByeCOLL..Further, even if you don't count the fresh water ice caps, there is massively more fresh water in ground water aquifers than in lakes and rivers. Bakal's total fresh water is about 1.4% and that is pretty high .

The problem with freshwater lakes is that they're all too cold! With very short summer seasons to use them.. .

Baikal holds 20 % of the worlds fresh water? he said........interesting as Canada is said to also hold that per centage

so are they mutually exclusive?
@shafqatishan4377 ай бұрын
@@anotherpewtertahoe it is correct, lake Baikal is sooo terrifyingly deep, it's unbelievable, that too for a freshwater lake. There isn't much freshwater on earth apart from rivers and the freshwater lakes that we have. Canada has most numbers of lake, in fact more than every other countries combined, but none of it's lakes are anywhere close to the depth of Baikal. But total volume of water all lakes combined can be 20%. Rest are in other parts of the world where are most rivers.
