Quite different to the van eh? 😁 We love new/different experiences and a summit top tent fits the bill perfectly! Thanks for watching mate 👍🏼

Makes you really appreciate the Van though doesn't it. I was away on Friday in the Cali and the weather was a bit wild. Watching all the campers in their small tents, sat outside in hats and big jacket, having to panic pack away the chairs when it started raining really made me realise the Cali was a great purchase. I have loved my may years in a tent but your comments about being spoilt resonated! Its not the end of the camping with the tent for me, but I may now be a fair weather tent user!
@Professionalmoochers2 жыл бұрын
You’re absolutely right! The van is no comparison to what a tent can give you but, the van offers so much that you’ll never get in a tent. California is definitely our main aim for trips away but the tent has such a unique draw to it, which is why we’ll continue to mix it up 😁 Thanks for watching 🙏🏼

Great video as always guys, great to see youse out wild camping. We recently done our first wild camp, found it quite fun actually despite the wind being a bit of a literal nightmare. I know what you mean about knowing where things are and go, that was my problem 🤣. I always think adventures are better to look back on after than in the moment with wind blowing in your face 24/7 haha. Great video though, all the best! 👍🏻🏔

Thank you! I honestly think the organisation of kit is a dark art 😄 No doubt it’ll get easier with practice. Congratulations on your first camp too, it can become quite addictive, camping in solitude surrounded by nature. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏼

Jees after my time in the army I don't think I could hack the tent camping malarkey 😂😂 Abina is well up for it but the taught of packing everything including the kitchen sink would kill me. Just as I'm trying this Abina says "God love them, they're always wearing jackets" ha ha ha
@Professionalmoochers2 жыл бұрын
It’s an absolute chore but is genuinely worth it 😄 It’s a good job we like wearing jackets as we’re very good at being outside in the cold 😁 Thanks for watching 🙏🏼

Fabulous, love it, but no, no, no. Overnight in the Cali fills me with trepidation-wild camp-not happening 😁. Glad it ended so well though -love the skylarks, a beautiful sound ♥️

It’s an unbeatable experience but definitely not as easy or luxurious as waking up in the comfort of a Campervan 😁

That looks like a colonic irrigation for the mind, which is very appealing. However, you guys are far more hardcore than us, I'd need a sherpa! It's odd to think that I was battling London buses and scooter gangs around the same time that you guys were experiencing those beautiful views! I really should fill my diary more wisely!! 😆
@Professionalmoochers2 жыл бұрын
😄😄 colonic is a good way of describing it! Yeh, I think we’d prefer battling midges then wind over traffic any day. It’s tough going but nearly always worth it 👍🏼

Wild Camping nice if you have a water filter you could avoid carrying the water up the hill and tap into a nearby stream .
@Professionalmoochers2 жыл бұрын
We’ve bought a BeFree water filter so we did plan to filter water up there but with us not being up there too long, it wasn’t needed this time. Cheers for checking in 🙏🏼

It appears to be - Eriophorum angustifolium, commonly known as common cottongrass or common cottonsedge, is a species of flowering plant in the sedge family, Cyperaceae. Native to North America, North Asia, and Northern Europe, it grows on peat or acidic soils, in open wetland, heath or moorland.....
