Love the view from High Raise and I remember doing that and Sergeant Man on a gorgeous November day 18 months ago. I love a sandwich, not keen on a sweaty one mind or feet, I have an aversion to those😖. One area I have still to explore in the Langdale's, so I watched that with particular interest, with Angle Tarn looking fantastic, unbelievable you did not all get in for a chill and a soak. Fair play to you both for the morning scramble, that looked tough in the heat and with a camping pack and you have to love the Lakeland false summits. Those views were superb and you certainly had the weather to enjoy them and great call on leaving your packs before the final climb to the summit of Scafell Pike. Whoever told you not to attempt Lords Rake with your camping packs, send them a medal but that descent you took looked a mare. The pub must have been manner from heaven and the B&B even more so. With another biggie coming up in a couple of weeks, a good call it end it when you did, the call of the pub is always a good pull. Hats off to you all, cheers Alan

Hi Alan 😃 yeah it was lovely exploring the lakes a bit more, we did have a soak at Angle tarn, I was just too tired to film a lot of the bits 🙈🙈 it was much needed! There were some epic wild camping spots along the trail x The pub was sent from heaven! They always are after a long day x and yes Lord Rake……. 🤣🙈 maybe I’ll try it one day without the pack?! Thanks so much for watching

😮 Absolutley gobsmacked and a Huge Well done to everyone again.. Really tough routes undertaken in extreme ( well for the uk ) heat it really does sap the energy out of you. Most of those summits can be ordeal with a day pack on a day hike. So to conquer them with heavy rucksacks is just Superhuman in my book. 👍😁 Good shout regarding Lords Rake kerry, hard enough assending it with a day pack, too dangerous coming down it with backpacks. Sensibly called it Time at the right time , your injures would have worsened and a cold beer and a good meal plus rest was the way to go.. As you said. The trail will alwats be there and others.. Hope your knees have recovered x Looks like everyone thourally enjoyed the trip and Congratulations .. That was not only stunning, hard going, but memories that will stay a lifetime.. 😁 Enjoy the TMB kerry, im shaw youll smash it 👍😁🤗

Thanks so much Mike 🤗 yes I’ll head back up one day and finish it off, but maybe with a day pack lol x we laughed a lot and enjoyed ourselves which as you said is the main thing x hope your ok and enjoying the summer

@DrunkOnWanderlust 😁 hiya kerry, sorry I've been a bit house busy.. You'll soon be hearing cow bells and marmotts chattering as you do the TMB trail 👍👍👍😁 don't go at it like a steam train the first couple of days, take your time to acclimatise etc.. plus if you do them, enjoy the via feratta routes.. This will be an epic adventure surrounded by rugged high peaks and mont blanc to say the least. Enjoy, stay safe x The Bob Graham round ide sujest possibly a weekend ? Use a campsite for a base and venture out with a daypack with your fave treats, and the normal day pack attire.. 😁 Nextyear touch wood I'm doing the corronallics in andorra, a 5 day circular route through valleys and over the High peaks bagging a few 4000mtr summits on route. Not decided wether to use the refugios or wildcamp yet. But refugios means less pack weight, less faff at the airports etc.. 😁 Looking forward to your TMB updates, photos and videos 😁😁😁👍 Have fun x

Stirrup crag, that's difficult, confident or not, with a group I carry a confidence rope, and would lower all the packs before any person, then bring the person down . I love what you are doing for the outdoors, our country is amazing and your little you tube and website is making it better 💕💕💕👍👍☕️☕️☕️ we need more of Charlottes bum 😃😃🤣🤣

Safety first and foremost always evertime is crucial, some hiking injuries can take a life and or last a lifetime. Either way it pays to be sensible and hike responsibly. In the end and on reflection its what makes it worth the while and makes the memories that persist to carry you when life inevitably tries to pull you down. Well done Impressive stuff for sure. 👍
