Super educational vid. That "working hard at failing" is a gem. Dude had enough output it seemed but he was landing nothing and his ineffectiveness was obvious to the judges. Also that slingshot move on the break seems to be super risky. Is that a "know your opponent" type of decision? 😂

8:08 where you prove the need for a dynamic left hand for defense is absolutely fascinating and insightful. would you be able to expand on that in a video? are you constantly switching from high guard to relaxed lead hand? what would an optimal dynamic lead hand look like in defense? thank you, coach!

1. Love getting a glimpse into Lee’s approach as a corner. You can tell she knows her fighter and has been to war with him many times. 2. What boxing shoes were you wearing in this one? 3. I need a Coach Bam Bam nutrition video because if I sniff a home fry I’m gaining 10lbs immediately.

Great video, I LOVE the voiceover and Lee's POV in the corner! Maybe I'm mistaken, but it seems your boxing style is hard for judges to score, as this isn't the first fight you've clearly dominated without winning. What do you think might be "missing" or needs improvement? I've seen comments suggesting power might be an issue, but I'm curious about your perspective. Or maybe is just bad luck with getting bad judges since this is amateur boxing and not pro...

It seems like some amateur fights fighters are fine with feeling out the opponent and test skills, while others are looking to knock each other out. As I see your fights, it seems as though you are not going in with the intent to destroy your opponent and knock them out. Can you comment on that mindset/philosophy?
@bambaraboxing6 ай бұрын
@@rickdoctor5874 I always treat my fights like the first 3 rounds of a 12 round fight. I feel them out, try to learn as much as I can and establish control. I beleive If it was a longer fight the momentum would turn over and I would eventually get the win. But I'm not a huge puncher (and I have delicate hands) so I have to invest lots of legwork into tiring a guy out before he would be ready for a finish.

The concept of "clean punches landed" is loosely interpreted. I guarantee many Rubber necked and blocked punches are being counted as clean to the judges.

No matter blind judges this one is clearly a win, thanks again for the voice over commentary and analysis, they’re always very good to watch with your thought process I like your style but god I wish you had a bit more power at times, it’s frustrating watching this beautiful 6 after the jab slip, that doesn’t flatten the opponent Same for that overhand jab counter You clearly dominate yet the opponent isn’t afraid to just throw a lot of volume at the end because he doesn’t really get hurt It’s frustrating because I know what blind judges will think of that
