I’ve lived here my entire life. I remember when they brought this boat down from Baldwin Station as just a hull. The original superstructure was built at the steel pier. Years later the cut the ship in half and put a new center section in to lengthen it by about 60’ if I recall. When they tested it the first time it had no bow thrusters and the wind pushed it sideways towards the southern shore. Private boaters were unlisted to tug it straight to get it docked. Great video!
