Good to see this Lake again, has been many years since I've fished there. Do remember a nice largemouth bass in back of the cove, he wasn't taking back then. Good to see the variety of fish you caught and the kayak adventure. Thanks Timm for posting!

Thanks bro. It was a very pleasant experience except for when I supposedly was fishing too close to a shore fisherman 😂. My bad! It definitely looked like it would produce some quality bass, trout, etc... just happy to get out for the day, but a lil far. A buddy of mine keeps telling me about Jenks, so thank you. Hey Big Game! Did you change your channel name? Hope all is well bro!!! The kayak I have is just one I bought for the family to hang out at the lake. I just wanted to try to get into the middle of the lake to try for fish down deeper because of the heat so I used it. I do want to purchase a pedal kayak sometime later or maybe just wait for a small boat...I’m saving now 😎. Enjoy the week!!!

IMO that launch fee is ridiculous for doing absolutely nothing.

I’m not sure what other lakes cost to launch…. As a first timer there, I was just happy to be fishing the lake. 🤙

@@ReelTimeWithTimm I pay $30 per year per kayak but it covers any lake in Kern county. Lake Isabella cost me $60 a year to fish the southern end of the lake(I like the convenience of pulling my truck to the shoreline for launching)but anywhere else it’s free. Lake Webb and Evans it’s $7 per vehicle or $60 a year and if you’re fishing for trout during the season it’s $6 a day, anything other species it’s included with your entry fee. $25 to launch?😳

@panchopachangas4450 nice man! I figured there was an upside to kayaking a lake regularly. I do appreciate the info. I know at Silverwood Lake, I can the pay the entrance fee of 10 per day and can launch from the marina. Although the price has changed to 20 on the weekends just recently.
