Great video. I love how much respect you show towards them. Great video with some terrific tips. Lots of angles and a great range of species shown. I’ve only got my L plates on so this has been a great video to watch. Learnt so much.

Hey mate great vids. I like how you explain why you've chosen that particular spot on the big lake. A lot of you tubers don't explain why they are fishing where they fish. Just one thing I've been hearing some marine biologist talk about. Fish don't have eye lids. So they may even be in pain sitting there on the boat getting sun in thier eyes. Good thing you use the rag. May be even give thier eyes a rest. I'm subscribing mate. Top stuff cheers. Also what boat hull is that. I'm thinking about upgrading.

Hi mate, thanks for the positive feedback. I really appreciate getting feedback! I’ve never really thought about that eyes of the fish so that definitely makes sense. Some great info thanks. The hull is a reef runner, I do an episode on the boat if you want to have a squizz 👍🏼 thanks again mate

Great video mate 👍 What’s your typical rod n reel combo for the lake? And what seats are those? Nice boat 👌
@hookin5 ай бұрын
Thanks mate, I usually run either a 6-12lb or 10-17lb 7ft rod and either a 2500 or 3000 size reel. 10-15lb braid and run 20lb leader when chasing big lizards 👍🏼 They are Relaxn seats mate, not too bad 👌🏽 thanks mate appreciate the feedback

Great episode again Ben with the onset of cold water. If you are looking for a fishing buddy on the lake, hit us up, I usually fish Brissy Waters and also enjoy chasing the big ones at Lake Mac. Tight lines 🎣

Completely agree with fish handling! Hate watching guys hanging fish off lip grips for extended periods or letting their fish thrash over sand rubbing off their protective slime. If you keep fish you know that fish need that slime to protect from parasites and environment. Rub it off and fish can suffer or die over an extended period. Thanks for taking care of your catch!
