Lake of the Crags Trail is one of the most remote and less traveled trails in Grand Teton National Park. This secluded area of the park is close to 3 miles from the Jenny Lake boat dock from the mouth of Cascade Canyon. Hanging Canyon is ideal for those looking to get away from the crowds near Jenny Lake, but you will definitely have to work for the solitude it provides. Lake of the Crags and Ramshead Lake rest quietly tucked below the Rock of Ages, Symmetry Spire, and Mount St Johns. The Jaw overlooks Hanging Canyon far to the west. The Jaw is class 3 and 4 rock scrambling but worth every once of sweat it takes to conquer. Hanging Canyon can be reached by starting at the String Lake Trailhead, Cascade Canyon boat docks, or the Jenny Lake Visitor Center. If you have the energy and will power to travel up into this beautiful canyon this hike should not be missed!

Dang I saw that fire! We’re up in Glacier right now and a fire sprung out of nowhere near Kalispell. Winds are making it nasty. You are making it happen out there in the Sawtooths 👍🏼!

My 16-year-old and I were watching this and I was telling him about how "when I was younger, my parents took me to Yellowstone and I remember driving passed the Tetons on the way out and all I kept thinking was 'why didn't we just go there?'" We both started laughing when you said essentially the same thing in your video. We'll do this trek in two days from now. Great videos; this and a few others we've watched now! You basically just became our tour guide for our stay in the Tetons. Do you have a favorite trek in the Tetons? So glad I found your channel.

You just made my day my friend! Great minds think alike 😁. So far to date The Jaw has been my favorite but we plan on the Middle and more in the future. For an overall perfect FULL day in the park, I loved the hike to Icefloe Lake via Jenny Lake. It's an actually marathon but you'll see almost everything. If you take the first ferry across in the morning you'll shave off close to 5 miles, I think. Paintbrush Canyon and Cascade Canyon Loop is ridiculous as well. I'd love to know what you end up doing and how it goes 👍🏼 enjoy! Also, Disappointment Peak ranks up there with The Jaw as well, maybe a hair in front depending on the day.

The view from the top has to be one of the best in the Tetons. The great thing about The Jaw is you can make the climb very easy (close to class 2 if you wanted) or very challenging, which you chose. It's a great mountain!
