Is Ray still guiding? I went out with him several times, several years ago, but can't seem to find him these days....

I don't think it would make a difference if the maggots were alive or not since you are trolling haha

its amazing to me that they name these lakes after people who supported or built the grand coolie dam.... even though it destroyed 300,000 salmon for 5 years till they stopped coming :l I mean i all for the dam just they could of tryed harder to help the salmon...

Blanchard Bros And now all we can keep is there WDFW hatchery frankenfish on the largest lake in Washington. It's basically WDFWs private lake and we pay to catch their fish. Washington is turning into a giant trout farm they own.

We fish way up by Kettle Falls near Colville. Right off shore with powerbait right now is great...March 1st. Don't need a boat. Lately a lot of us are doing good off shore about 5 miles north of the Gifford ferry. Off of highway 25. If you see a group of rigs parked near the highway that would be the best proven spot. If you see a hand painted army green 1986 Toyota PU that would be me. If you would to catch 5-8 lb triploid the tribe plants them every yr at Twin Lake and the carry overs are massive. One 9.5 lbs last yr caught by a kid next to me. Again you don't need a boat. Right off the docks is excellent. I fish Sept there when the pressure is down and zero people.
