Thank you, much appreciated, the clarity on Tahoe is absurd, so the underwater shots are a thank you to mother nature, and we are fortunate to have some of the most colorful fish in CA/NV

I'm not sure if you released all of the caught fish on this particular trip but as an avid lifelong fisherman (54 years), I personally appreciate the release clips as much as the catch portion. C&R is one of my greatest life pleasures. TFS ✌🏼

I kind of occupy a shade of grey with catch and release, I release a lot of fish, but not all of them, I do like to eat fish, mostly saltwater fish, but I will keep a Makinaw here and there, hardly ever keep any other trout unless I am relying on a meal, watching fish swim free is very satisfying for me.

Nice video, I live in Incline Village and have only done bank fishing. Is this rig good for small kayaks?
@BlakeMarshallPiscesOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the Rapala Scatter Rap baits are great for kayaks, get traditional fish patterns for Lake Tahoe (Rainbow, Brown) typically work best, with the clarity of Tahoe water, put the rapalas 250' to 400' back with 10-20lbs fluorocarbon leader, I use 12-15lbs the most for trolling, and work shoreline 15' deep - 50', you can topline these lures, or use a few colors of lead-core line to get them down, working the bottom can reely help your chances, pun intended. You have to go fast to get these baits to work right, between 2.5 - 3.5 mph will get them scattering around, looks like a frightened fleeing fish. Good Luck!

@@taurus66 There is a really amazing Tahoe guide in South Lake, Captain Mike Nielson, Tahoe Topliners. His boat is awesome, and he knows the lake very well.
