Did they defund Fish & Game like the police officers? 😂 My neighbors are very careful about trash outside and I have not heard of any bears breaking into homes in the mountains here but we do have a few bears going through properties looking for meals. 🐻🍗🧀🍉🥩🍅

I live in Tahoe in the 1990s and I had a bear episode as well it was a nightmare and I was frustrated everything in the house that was sweet smelling or even food was destroyed I had 13 extra pounds of flour for the winter to make bread and they got into it and drag it around the house as well I cried so hard over it it was so much of a mess I got frustrated so I try to get it cleaned up to the insurance company and they said it doesn't cover it but I still had 14 garbage cans full of trash anyone 100 bucks a can just to get rid of it the beds were messy the toothpaste the Soaps and all the food was the strain be honest life of dreams I can understand that you were light and you're breaking I wish I can show you the pictures of mine what to fly over the forest and everything God bless you❤

Darn bears. Lol. They know where the tasty food is. We have had our fair share of cleaning up after them up here. Mountain Lions are more of a danger up here. We lost a pet right in front of our house. Lion crushed the skull. Another time a friend was hiking with a Mountain Lion stalking him. He said it kept getting closer when he turned his back. Be careful up in the mountains here.

Probably not worth the cost making your home bear proof. Wonder if the insurance companies increase your premiums after a bear burglary.

You always pay back your insurance company for the next five years through higher premiums. Anything minor isn’t worth the hassle going after.
