Great job - This is my town and I work for the electric company that services the front half of 1000 trails - They are really trying to update this place even through the covid times. You are right, Auto Worx is a great place that we take our vehicles to and Tres Hermonos is about as good as it gets for Mexican food and ran by a very nice family. Safe travels :)

Just curious. Do you happen to know if one can rent an RV for a week or just a weekend, to experience what life might be like with time spent in a park like Lake Whitney? We have "the bug" and Whitney is close enough for us to get a taste of the experience. Just need the RV and the cost and what all goes along with it. Hoping you can shed some light? No biggie if you can't. Just never hurts to ask. Approximates are fine as well. LOL I see ducks ... I want to know if they are worth chasing to get them all in a row! Yes, many people do rent RVs before deciding to go full time, BUT...keep in mind the type of RV you rent probably won’t be the same EV you buy and can make a big difference in your experience. We would not recommend Lake Whitney, mainly because it we have heard that it has still not had all of it’s much needed updates and will also leave a bad impression. If you are close enough, go to Thousand Trails Lake Conroe as that will give you a better idea of the updates that they are slowly making to some of their older properties. Lake Whitney will be nice (again) once the finish but it’s too early for that. We never did rent an RV but we hear there are a few places that you can. A little Google search for your area will be your best bet for that. Sounds like it’s time to line up your ducks and waddle on down to Lake Whitney! 😉🤪 Good luck and enjoy! 😊🤓

Our TT membership is an older plan called VIP and allows 21 days in the park plus booking 120 days in advance. We also have no high use restrictions (except for 3 parks). There are so many plans to choose from and they definitely pay for themselves. Happy Thanksgiving!! 🦃 🧡

Great video! This place isn't too far from us and we have put it on our list now! Thanks for the wonderful information and very helpful review! Could you tell us how you made your channel graphics for the intro? (We would like to improve ours and yours is great!) We've always wanted to do something similar with our intros and outros. Did you create it yourself using an editing software?

Thank you very much! 😊🤓 I used Final Cut Pro and make the intros myself. I just make a new separate video and save it on my hard drive to reuse over. I start by adding the video clips I want to use, pick the music, drop the music in, edit each clip lengths to match the beat that I want it to end at for each clip and then the words are made with various options within Final Cut Pro. Since int’s so hard to give instructions in words, as it’s too in depth, the best thing to do is search KZbin on “how to make an intro for KZbin” and you’ll get different videos/instructions and ideas. Then once you get the hang of the software, your imagination will take over. I never seem to be happy with ours and I’m always looking for improvements. I have been using Hitfilm Express which is a free software but not very intuitive and it doesn't offer user friendly templates for creating logo stings, intros and outros like Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere. It looks like I'll just have to bite the bullet and purchase some better editing software! LOL!

Sunset Seekers you’re very welcome! I haven’t trued Adobe Premiere. I do know that it has an ongoing price, where Final Cut Pro is a one time fee to purchase. That’s why we went with it. Let me know what you end up doing and how it comes along.

Are you sure you went to Thousand Trails. That place is a mess. All pull thrus are closed. Very few 50 amp. Last two Manager's quit. The upgrades have been coming for the last 5 years.

This video was over a year ago ago and was our very first and only time there. We don’t remember saying it was such a great place, but we do remember saying that they were working on upgrades and some pedestals not working and pot holes in the roads. the thumbnail just represented them working on the pool if that’s what you are going by. What the progress has been since then we have no idea. It was in need of many upgrades as I thought we mentioned in the video (?) Sounds like you go there often or did you only get a one time experience too? We went once and did not go back this year because we heard it hasn’t gotten any better. One thing for sure is, we’re definitely not trying to hide anything lol
