I've been having a blast out there the last couple weeks, it took a few trips to find em but now I have a spot where they are all literally over 10" consistently.

Awesome! There’s definitely a lot of solid perch out there this year if you can find where they’re schooled up. I can’t wait to catch those tasty buggers through the ice!

Do you have 60" shaft on bow mount trolling motor ..just wondering
@CNCoutdoors5 ай бұрын
Yes i have the 60” shaft. Wish i had the 72” some days trying to spot lock in bigger waves

How much time do you spend on each spot before you move on those transition lines?
@CNCoutdoors7 ай бұрын
I would say 15-30min max if i don’t catch anything.
@bad_vaporizer7 ай бұрын
@CNCoutdoors how far do you move from each spot? And does wind play a role with finding perch?
@CNCoutdoors7 ай бұрын
@@bad_vaporizer i haven’t noticed wind playing much of a factor for positioning the perch on structure. However it is definitely a good thing to have a little chop to keep the baits moving. If i don’t catch a single fish in a spot typically I’ll move deeper or shallower in that area first before i move. But I’m basically letting my electronics tell me how far i move. Lots of variables, but if I haven’t caught a fish in a certain area for like an hour I would probably completely move reef structures. If I’m catching fish here and there I would make small moves and bounce around till I find them.
