Started as a fan through Googan. Slowly progressed into all of y’all’s personal channels. I know it was 3 years ago for you but I just went through your surgery videos tonight and lemme tell you, I’m so happy to see your recovery. I don’t know you personally but I was almost in tears seeing you make it through the surgery and how much your wife truly loves you. I hope your content never stops 🤘🏻 🎣

You should try some M4 steel knives. Great edge retention and super tough. Not the most corrosion resistant but alot of the blades come coated to fix that problem. Also m390/20cv and cruwear are all great

Welcome Camp Knife Fans...having most all of these knives and many more, I can say the journey to discover my own preferences has been fun and educational. My rule..that I often find myself doing is going as far as I can in a Jeep...then a Dirt Bike and ending up at tree line in the Idaho wilderness with just a back pack of gear. The only thing around is the Grizzly on the opposite ridge and you can’t help feeling like your being watched by the Cougar that’s been following you. What knife do I want? The Bark River Bravo Clip Point and Cub are next to test to see if one is a possible replacement for my Bravo 1.5...

I was the same as you in regards to the replaceable razor blade knives. I've got, I'm not sure how many thousands of dollars in, primarily pocket knives, but also some heavier fixies for hunting, not so much bushcraft though. I love sharpening. I constantly switch out my edc knives, and then spend hours sharpening them. But I broke down and bought an outdoor edge razor knife, and I hate to admit it, but it sure does come in handy when you've got a deer and/or 1-8 pigs that you shot or trapped that need to be cleaned. Lol. But even so, if I'm only cleaning one animal I stick to my real knives in s35vn, s45v, even some cheaper Bucks in 420. Had a couple BM's in s30v and was not impressed. I wished BM would make a good skinning knife in D2 because I've got a 940 in D2 steel and absolutely love it.

Hey bud! Love the videos and all the content. I'm a knife and sheath maker (leather and kydex). A couple things. Don't use olive oil on your knives. It can go rancid and make you sick especially since you're using it for food and food prep. I recommend mineral oil. It's food safe and you can use it to protect your leather sheaths as well. Second, I would love to make a knife just for you and get you using it. Then last thing I love that you have a rule to buy one knife a month! That's a great rule!! Hope to hear back from ya.
