In today's fishing vlog I'm using one of my first fishing poles I ever had from my childhood. It's a 10 foot telescoping pole designed for catching brim but I attempt to catch white bass, largemouth and bluegill in the same fishing session.

When I was about 4 or 5 (I am 73 now) My dad and my grandpa were going fishing and I wanted to go but dad said no. Grandpa said she can go and brought a cane pole so long he had to tie it on the roof of the car. I had so much fun and I loved to fish the rest of my life. I do not get to go anymore so I love watching you and others fish. You smell the fish I always kissed them and freaked people out. In Minnesota Crappies Bass and Sunnies are my favorite to eat and crappies the most fun to catch. Lived in Florida 10 years and had to buy a book to know what I was catching Sheepshead were fun. Thanks for the vicarious fun!

I love your videos they always bring me such joy to watch. Even your older stuff that I went back and watched has really inspired me. So thank you LFG for simply being a fantastic fisherman, dad and human. My first rod was a push button. My dad and I decided to throw it away after it tangled so bad that I'm not sure some thermite would have fixed it. And that's how I learned to use a bait caster at 6 years old:)

You're the best LFG. I've been trying to utilize your fishing tips, which I really appreciate. The first time using the football jig with a crack n craw I caught a 3 lb large mouth. Not to shabby for my neck of the woods. If you ever want to check out some fishing in Grafton, NY I would be happy to show you some spots.

Once in the 60's on lake Texoma, Crappie,,, second time Dale Hollow, Stripers, or that's what we called them back in the 70's both times at night with a light.I was a kid the first time and had my own 2 kids by the second time. It's really cool that you have your old first rod. What a treasure. Thanks for sharing

The Yankees game and him at the end of the night. Sitting i. The shower for hours hammered. All of you googans rock and help make memories with my kid. Killing it with googan baits.
