Hey LFG , when your flipping like that is the brakes off your spool and you use a lot of thumb or heavier brakes on the spool to minimize the bird nest? I have a hard time with the flipping technic without bird-nesting. Any advise would be appreciated

Just saw your vid you streamed live and last year my English bulldog got a brain tumor and started having seizures. It came and went but after a month or two it because extremely bad. He started to be wobbly. Go in corners and in between chairs and nooks to stabilize himself. Also he would go in circles going right(that was the side of the brain it was on). My advice is to know when it's time to let go. After a while it was like he wasn't even there so I know your pain and I know it's a hard decision to make.

to avoid birdsnesting the entire spool, let out how much line you think you'll need then a little extra. then put scotch tape around the rest of the line on the spool, this makes it so you can only birdsnest the line on top of the tape
