Lakeland 5 passes

The Lakeland 5 passes in the Lake District starts in Grassmere. Climbs Loughrigg and then Wansfell. Over Garburn Pass to Kentmere and then to Sadgill. Now the real climbing starts. With Gatescarth pass and Harter Fell, Mardale Ill Bell, Thornthwait Crag and over to Caudale Moor before decending to Kirkstone pass. Now the last climb of Red Screes before a long decent to Grasmere.
The weather started fine but on the high tops the clag came in.

What a great race!.The Lakeland 5 passes is a brutal race..So much ascent ..Leg sapping..Great coverage of the day Mick..Thanks for sharing
