Lakers management needs to pay attention to how Minnesota is using Naz Reid and give that role to CWood next year. Theres no reason to not use him and AD together when playing a team like Minnesota or Denver.

I agree. He should come off the bench for AD at the 4. Lakers should re sign and develop Hayes and sign another defensive minded rebounding 5 to either start or come off the bench for Hayes. The lakers MUST return to the twin towers line up that won them 2020

yeah, i hope so too. I still want another big as big as AD or bigger, but I hope the new coach can develop Jaxson into that Javale role. he has that archetype; 7feet, very athletic, he can use that athleticism to protect the rim if he works on his defense.

If indeed we do keep Wood and Hayes next season and don't trade them. I would still like us to get a bruiser center. Wood can play the 4 as well and further help to fortify our length at the front court 4 and 5 positions.

I would start him next to Anthony Davis if Wood would focus on his defensive impact because of his offensive ability to stretch the floor. Get two wings with one being a ball handler and move Austin to the bench.

We honestly just need an actual center who can defend and grab boards and throw AD at the 4. With Vanderbilt and Wood coming back next season we’ll have the size to compete with teams. Dlo has got to go tho. And hopefully Bron at this stage in his career can take a bit of a pay cut so they can sign a competent bench.

Lakers NEED another shot blocking big besides AD. Mo Bamba should be added to the roster. AD and Hayes and Wood and Bamba. Plus factor in they most likely won't ALL be healthy at the same time. So they need that extra flexibility of dedicating at least 4 roster spots to 4 guys that are at least somewhat playable at Center. If the new coach is making 40yo Lebron guard Embiid and Jokic in solo coverage for longer than 3min in a game like Ham did, then whoever the new coach is, will also need to be fired as well... There's 96min between the PF & Center position, 36min can go to AD, 20min can go to Wood, 15min can go to Bamba, 15min can go to Hayes, & 10min can go to Rui at PF (15min at SF). Rest of the roster should be Lebron, Reaves, Prince, Vando, Reddish, Max Christie, Gabe Vincent. That's 11 roster spots so far, but the Lakers will need a really aggressive guard. Donavan Mitchell would be ideal candidate. Reaves at PG, Mitchell at SG, Bron at SF, AD PF/C and Rui/Wood/Hayes depending on the matchups & health. Rui if you want most versatile offensive option, Wood if you want best floor spacing and rebounding, Hayes if you want size and energy (Wood would honestly be the best fit with this lineup in my opinion). Rui would be great as a 6th man to provide scoring off the bench imo

Super glad that the LAL made a very smart choice in resigning C-Wood. He was injured and didn't get to play as much, thus making it difficult to play him in the postseason. And imma say it again, he was initially signed to be in the starting 5 along with AD, so he could play the 5, and AD back at the 4, where he's seemingly most comfortable. In terms of stats and overall versatility, I'd trade Jaxson Hayes just bc he's still young, and offers high energy and athleticism on the offensive end, but doesn't exactly have a specific skill to make him a "threat" on either end, aside from a lob threat. Wood on the other hand, despite the minutes, has at least shown to be a capable 2-way player, and a somewhat reliable perimeter scorer. His versatile presence and athleticism makes him a bit more valuable in my opinion, and can be an even bigger help on both ends of the floor, especially against taller offensive players. If the Lakers give him starter minutes, there's no doubt they'll have more wins, and a higher defensive rating, hell maybe even a top 5 ranking. Also, let's not forget that when Wood was in Dallas and Houston, he was almost averaging a double-double AS A STARTER!!! and around 38% from 3pt range, as well as a 1.1 BPG. So again, it's not like he can't deliver, he just dont get enough minutes to do so. I still also think they should sign Dwight Howard as well, but that's a topic for another day.

Next coach should go big With AD and Wood when facing the likes of Denver and Minnesota.Wood opting in is good because Lakers don't have cap space to sign good players in FA.Trade Rui back and Gabe for Kuzma and Krispert, atleast Kuz is a way better rebounder,passer,can play make for others,off ball player and more agile and quicker on the defensive side of the ball,lol.Move Bron to PF and Kuz to SF.Sign Max and start him, he's still has lots to learn but he can defend and rebound.Lakers weakness this season was rebounding the ball outside of AD and Bron.He can become a Josh Hart at guard position.Sign Dlo(maybe trade later)and bring AR off the bench pair him with JHS(time to develop young players and see if they are a keeper or not) and Krispert at SF.With only 3 first round picks Lakers can't outbid other teams for getting a star player in the trade market.Sign Alex Len as big body back up center.Cam will opt in.Hayes might see some offers from other teams(Maybe OKC or Spurs).

People worry three pt. shooting waayy too much these days especially from bigs...crazy stay in that high percentage area and get more consistent pts. Instead of building houses outside....and there are very few true three pt shooters now and even in the history of the game..and C. Wood is a solid defender watch the tape...he was very outta shape this year he had to much mid section weight hes never moved consistently this slow in his career probably why he got hurt. Think he wants a redo badly
