Christian played well when he was on the floor, for the most part. His clutch rebounding and ability to get to the line are very needed for this team.

I’d say he was mostly bad rather than good given his lack of efficiency, defensive commitment, and scoring compared to prior seasons. Definitely room for improvement, but Wood was not a valuable role player last season going off the eye test or numbers (-0.2 VORP).

His rebounding was vastly underrated and we missed him badly for that reason. 5 boards per game in limited minutes.

@@JSM24it’s hard to be consistent without actual playing time. If you’ve actually balled in real life you know that when your coach shows that he doesn’t care about you and leaves you on the bench, you can’t stay warm. Be for real.

I think Woods coming into the season in shape compared to last year should help. Also, I think he'll be better schemes as far as offense...so I see why he gets a pass...

C. Wood should play like nikola mirotic type of player where it really helped AD to operate in the paint because of the space provided by these shooting bigs, Reddick should learn from new orleans back in 2016

Wood will be way better this year. He came in out of shape last year and ended up with knee surgery. Plus Darvin just never let him get going. He was still a key rebounder for us with 5 per game in small minutes. We really missed that when he went out. His rebounding is way underrated. The AD Wood pairing can work in the right matchups I have no doubt.

Realistically, I see them playing DK for the first 10-ish games. If he’s struggling to find his shot, they’re gonna go back to cam reddish. I dont see a world where they’d give him consistent minutes if he’s struggling unless of the rotation guys is injured.
