Keys things that stood out to me. Tell me what yall think. Stats in favor of Denver: Turnovers +6 3 Pointers +7 Offensive Rebounds +9 Denver total shot attempts 102. Lakers 79. We gotta win in more of these critical categories if you want to beat a good team especially a championship team like the Nuggets.

Allen you say it’s about the role players not stars. However the Denver Nuggets role players are led by the most humble star and a point guard that has never made the all star team. Playing for the Lakers is like having to share a desk right next to your boss (Lebron) and his favorite manager (AD). The nuggets are more equals, pulling together under an actual coach. DLo shot 30% - every other Laker shot 56% w/ everyone 50% or better individually - this isn't complicated, Bench DLo - embarrassing to let some mid role player shoot you out of a game (20 shots to LeBron's 16). Keep starting him, get swept, guaranteed. Denver probably will shoot better than 46% next time - Game 2 IS the series

So many times did it look like they were not running a play out of a timeout, what was ham doing during those timeouts?? Sitting on his ass? That whole stretch where Denver went on a 13-3 run it looked like they weren't running ANY plays. You have the stats on your sets, USE THEM. Denver is not gonna blow up your play every time, but if you play pickup, you better get some buckets or they *will* punish you and they did

The fact that DLo gets the bulk of the blame in these Nuggets losses. Yes, he was cold from 3 but LeBron turned the ball over 7 times, the team had 12 TOs. Plus, Lebron 4 pts in the 12 mins of the game.

Dlo isn’t a playoff performer . Reeves is a ymca legend. With bron being 39 he has no legs and he isn’t cutting or moving.. the offense is completely stagnant. If dlo or reeves have the ball they’re too slow.. and either isn’t a cutter. You scan see the stagnation

To be fair to Dlo, we shouldn’t expect that much of him. He’s shown us who he is in the playoffs. The lakers have 3 players that are the key. Austin, DLo and Rui. None of them played well overall in game 1. They need to have at least 2 of the 3 playing well and you can afford one to have a mid to bad game.
