Pat Riley was a player with the Lakers then was an assistant coach under Paul Westhead. He had experience with the Laker organization. Steve Kerr played on two championship teams Chicago and San Antonio, plus he was in the front office in Phoenix. If the Lakers are trying to win a championship this season with Lebron then JJ Redick is a poor choice, he might have a great basketball mind, but being a coach requires a lot of tasks that have nothing to do with X’s and O’s . If Redick gets the job, Iebron is going to be calling the shots. That’s my humble opinion.Being a Laker fan for over 50 yrs this is a circus!!!!. The Lakers need an experienced coach, someone who has some asst experience as well as being an x player. Lebron needs to be a player and let coaches coach.

I’m gonna put it this way once LeBron leaves the Lakers will not win another championship until there is new ownership every championship that the Lakers have won has been because of what important man the most important Laker of all time Jerry West!! as a matter fact it was reported in the LA Times that the reason Jerry west left was because he was against Jeanie buss dating Phil Jackson and that’s bad for business and a bad look for the franchise and ownership ! And of course Phil Jackson Jeanie buss had tension with Jerry West and that’s why he left! There could have been other reasons but if you think about it logically that’s one of the main ones it’s because of Jerry West that we got Paul Gosal it’s because of Jerry West that we got Kobe and Shaq it’s because of Jerry West that the Lakers in the 80s were very successful when he made trades and got them over the hump!! why isn’t Jerry West still part of the Lakers look at what Jerry West it with the Golden State Warriors … but then Jeanie Buss makes a stupid decision to go higher Magic Johnson and then Magic Johnson comes out crying saying that there back stabbers in the organization come on !!! now it’s Jerry West all day for many many decades to come!!! Jeanie buss is a terrible owner Jerry BUss was a good owner but let’s just be honest he’s a businessman he didn’t really care too much about the Lakers all he really he cared was about him having fun with women and having fun with his life that did included the Lakers too at the same time But he was lucky he had the greatest GM of all time Jerry West! so with that said I should say Jerry West is the most important Laker of all time and the bus family now should Step aside and sell the franchise already wee need a new Ownership and by the way you’ll never hear this in any podcast or in the media talk about this that much that’s because I don’t have the balls to talk shit and say it how it is! Tell the truth about the lakers!!!

JJ Redick is going to be a star. Why not. Redick has been in the Mix for 20 years. First as a Player and then as a successful small business owner selling Himself and Basketball. A pioneer in the basketball podcast industry. Redick is not the assistant coach kind of guy. JJ said in on Q&A that he misses the action. What JJ does not say is that he does not have a Ring. It's all about the Ring. Everyone is waiting on Lebron. Rob and JJ and Jeanie and Bronny and DeAngelo Russell. Lakers and James Sr. need to let the kid go.
