Play of the game was Delo fouling Paul. I know JJ loved that. That happened last 6 min of the 3rd when Lebron and AR went out. Delo, Max, DK, Cam and AD turned a 6 pt lead into 15 at the end of the quarter. This lineup made the game faster. Great team win. Hap TG

The Basketball Gods have been appeased and the Curse of Davin Ham has been withdrawn. I didn’t care who sat D4 had to start, it just was so simple. Spurs were an excellent elixir for Lakers, Inexperienced coach and main player. This was like a practice against the JV. Hats off to DLo body bumping CP showing some fight and bravo Max finally looking like an 8 million dollar player. Bron and AD we’re good enough, the real test is OKC, great show guys Happy Holidays😊👍🏿

The Lakers need a 6’5 free agent veteran 3-point shooter as Coach Ham’s backup 2-Guard so J.J. Redick would have a versatile 3-point shooter on both units. Rob Pelinka blew that opportunity for J.J. Redick.

@LockedOnLakers 2 күн бұрын
@@deandrepage1048 Yeah, Brian and I actually talked about that offline before the show. It’s my understanding that the Spurs give him a ton of leeway to basically develop the game he wants, experiments with the shots he wants, etc., and are essentially treating these early years as a lab of sorts. Which, in the long term, makes sense. The Spurs aren’t in the position to win a title, or even come close, so might as well let Wemby try stuff out. But in the short term, it’s gonna result in a LOT of iffy shot selection. Wemby hits threes at a respectable enough clip, but I agree that his current volume does the opposition a favor overall. AK

AR should come off the bench and Dlo should start. He runs the offense better than AR . I get 23:20 that lebron is basiucally pg but imo thats not ideal at this point in his career. Dlo needs to get in rhythm and I think that will happen easier in the starting lineup than coming off the bench. I believe AR would have a much easier time coming off the bench and doing what he does also also I don't wanna hear the AR said better defender. I see AR getting cooked every single night. .

Knecht balances out the team because the starters are not playing four on five. with cam in there the others have to over exert themselves to make up for his lack of scoring so they are drained to play defense balance scoring equals more energy for defense

Hopefully the basketball guru named JJ will look at trends and realize the obvious fact that Dalton is a starter and should be a 2nd or 3rd priority if not the 1st priority in the offensive schemes. The Lakers have not had a pure shooter in all of the decades i have been a fan who is the caliber of DK. He is definitely even a cut above the JJ that used to lace up his sneakers and don an NBA jersey. DK could be an all-time great if he is given the chance. The leading stat padder and turnover king should handle the ball less with the exception of driving to the basket. He just makes too many mistakes with the ball and costs us games with his dazzling carelessness. He is always just a little late to make a great defensive play but is right there in time to grab a rebound to ensure a triple double if his assists outnumber his turnovers. I literally hold my breath when LBJ has the ball and release it when he actually makes a good play. Needless to say, i suffer alot from shortness of breath when I watch these Lakers. They have zero chance of winning a chip unless they go back to defense as a main priority and utilize DK as their main perimeter and cutting option. We need another big who is not soft and a true point guard who is confident handling the ball and can make great passes to DK. They must ramp up their defensive effort though and DLo must be more consistent as a shooter. Just my 2 cents.

The Lakers seem to win when Dalton is their 3rd best player cause let's face it, they got 2 superstars and Lebron advance age has him playing bad or low energy some games. Reaves is their 3rd best player and hes just not that good. For example, when they play Denver Michael Porter, Gordon, Jokic and Murray all better than Reaves. When they play phoenix, KD, Booker, Biel, and Nurkic are better... Reaves also struggles when they put good tall athletic defenders on him and even struggles with a Russel Westbrook ( and AR isn't a good defender either)...Lakers love Reaves but he ain't him... As long as they rely on Reaves heavily they will fall short
