Lakers have the 17th Pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. Lakers News came out that Lakers are exploring moving up from the 17th Pick and add a higher caliber player to the Lakers. Lakers Nation seems pretty confident that the Lakers Trade Pick 17 but depending on where they move up could lead to a future star.

LeBron & AD going to be busy this summer, high mileage on both of them. Lakers have not done a great job increasing their value and value = more bang for the buck and the trade. The Cap is something that all teams are going to have to adjust to. Big trades will get your team, but small trades could supersize the impact. Zach Lavine would be pairing W/ AD would be the future, but much will you lose? You need young talent and you have to play them. JHS was not showcase or develope, yet he tore it up in the G League. JHS is a big PG and I can see him jumping into the playing time. It depends if the Lakers believe in their pick last season. Max Christie is the keeper and I believe he will blow up this upcoming season.

Problem is the lakers. Not how strong or weak the draft could be. They missed on Tatum, brown on back to back years. Last year they had the 17 pick and missed on a lot of good guys. Drafted 2 kids that weren’t nba ready. Lakers aren’t doing a good job in working out kids and trying to incorporate youth to the roster.
