I personally think Nikola Vucevic makes so much sense and I know it’s a gamble because we absolutely need defense on the Lakers. But Vucevic is acceptable defensively and he’s better at guarding mid range shots to perimeter shots which is very good because when we look at the higher competition who do they have? Kristaps Porziņģis, Chet Holmgren, etc these people who can spread the floor a bit. I also think that the lack of three-point shooting from Anthony Davis would be null and void with him picking and popping or being the corner shot off a short roll. The Lakers are 24th in three-pointers made and 18th and three-point percentage… so adding somebody that can’t spread the floor I think will be detrimental especially seeing somebody like Vando coming back and getting more minutes and more minutes and more minutes.

The Lakers need to trade Reaves and Rui. I wouldn’t hang my hat on them having a few good games and all of a sudden they’re untouchable. Both are inconsistent scorers who get torched on defense.

Hayes playing over Koloko is looking more and more like sabotage. Rui lost his confidence as soon as DFS was added to the roster. Reaves being picked on defensively was the main reason why the Mavs gained so much confidence and momentum early on. Smart player but in addition to his defensive flaws his game also breaks down in the face of persistent athletic on ball pressure. AR wouldn’t start on any other contender in the league but somehow he’s apart of the Lakers’ big 3. I like that kid’s game and story a lot but he’ll be absolute food come playoff time when coaches exploit known team weaknesses.

LeBron is old now and Lakers are getting exposed on defense because we always have 2 to 3 guys that are slow to rotate on defense. Lakers players allowed guys to get to their favorite shooting spots. My trust for JJ disappeared last night after I watched him make zero adjustments and let the Mavs switch hunt AR for 4 quarters while he sat on his ass n did nothing n watched up get cooked lol. Plus none of the plays he was drawing up tht had are offense running great to start the season are still there..the whole offense has shut down

Only thing they should have done was make sure we had more two way talent and someone to feel the Rondo role. No need to toss the whole damn team out. Dwight and McGee where excellent.
