Big shout to @UnCommonCents-865 for the sweet jam!!!
Is there something specific about the Jazz that LeBron is scared of?
The Lakers and Jazz have met 3 times this season, LeBron has only played in the game that was part of the in-season tournament. That is self-explanatory since he cares about himself above all else and was after any BS accolades to add to his resume, like being In-Season Tournament MVP (which he didn’t deserve).
The game that LeBron did play was played in LA. Is LeBron afraid of Utah fans? Sorry, but there are more stadiums than just Utah that people don’t like LeBron.
Let’s address the free throws. Yes, the free throw count once again grossly favored the Lakers, but this is no different than any other game. So while it may be unfair, it doesn’t make this a special situation. When the Lakers looked great against the Celtics with LeBron sitting out many people said the Lakers won because of the free throws. The free throws may be the difference in winning a game and the free throws may favor the Lakers, but again, that’s every game. So you should consider the playing field leveled and that we still need to look at why the Lakers as a team suddenly pass the eye test when LeBron isn’t playing.
Looking at the leaderboard we see many things.
First, note that 13 games, 26 teams, played last night. Even then, multiple players on the Lakers showed up in the leader boards.
Anthony Davis is in three categories, four if you count fantasy points, but I don’t count it. AD is usually in the blocks category as well, which would have given him a legit four categories, but not this night. He did have two blocks, but that wasn’t enough to make the list on this night. So AD is in top five in rebounds and points and free throws. You have another Laker making the top five in two categories, Hachimura in points and three pointers. You also had D Lo leading all players in the assist category with 17. 17! It’s yet another reminder of what these players are capable of if LeBron isn’t in their way. Also look at the shooting percentage. Rui’s 36 came on 68% shooting, 75% from the field. AD’s 37 came on 52% shooting, which is what LeBron can get on a good night when 90% of his shots are uncontested layups. Reaves 69% DinWiddie 67% DLo 50% Prince 50% Hayes and Castleton 100% I dread the playoffs because this is an absolutely loaded team in terms of depth, skill, and size. Add to that the refs and they will be hard to beat in a 7 game series. And LeBron will be there to gobble up layups for the media to show on the highlight reels. He will get his points, but never in the manner that his teammates just showed they are capable of getting points. LeBron’s pursuit of his stats is the only reason the Lakers don’t have a better record right now.
Let’s move to LeMedia, who absolutely refuse to even acknowledge the possibility that the Lakers success when LeBron isn’t playing has something to do with LeBron not playing. If you want to present an argument for why it isn’t true, that’s one thing. But these people are acting like it’s not even a real thing. Just ignore it and hopefully no one else will talk about it.
What did the Lakers give up for DinWiddie? I am looking at their roster and all they did was add another piece.
Lastly I saw on other channels the fanboys making excuses. Why can’t a guy who has played for 20 plus years take some nights off. Well, he can. If you stop calling him iron man. If you stop calling him the greatest. If you stop claiming he’s still top 5 if not number 1 in the NBA. If you ignore that he played against the 8 and 46 Pistons but skipped the 26 and 29 Jazz. If you ignore that he is already getting plenty of rest between games (and during games). If you ignore that MJ played more games at a higher level with less advantages at age 40! If you acknowledge that this is a charity event being held for LeBron and these are all little more than exhibition games, OK. If you acknowledge that you make excuses for a guy who fails to deliver rather than it being a case of a player who truly is defying father time. And this acceptance of excuses by the media, this embrace of always providing a way out rather than being held accountable, has leaked out into the behavior of kids today. They say things today that you would have been chased out of the park for back in the day. One guy the other day, about 25 years old, while my team was whipping his, starting shouting, “You’re lucky this isn’t three years ago, we’d be winning.” That’s so weird. That’s so embarrassing. Like you should get beaten up for saying things that dumb. In fact that’s how people learned to not act like little cunts, there were consequences for it. Now people embarrass themselves constantly because it’s acceptable behavior. It’s not 3 years ago it’s now. Be in the now and own the situation that you are not good enough. It’s funny to be my age and hear that crap

Lakers fans, do you not see how LeBron refuses to defend? He load manages on the court while his teammates are forced to play 4 v. 5 defense. He's not even a goddamn traffic cone out there! Oh and he camps near the basket, while not actually defending anyone, to ramp up his rebound stats! Then on offense he's standing still, blowing on his hands and taking a couple of shots or take lay-ups/dunks when his teammates did all the work to clear the way. How is this not enraging every single Lakers fan? How is this not taken into account?? 😳

My favorite thing though is how much he travels, charges, and carries the ball. They also changed the rules for rebounds and assists a few years back just so LeBron can get even more stats he doesn't deserve. I've seen breakdowns before that count through the entire game and only come up with 6 assists for LeBron, but the stat line gives him credit for 8 or 9. It happens every single game. The 4v5 shit though is the worst. I would not want him anywhere near a team I'm on. Playing short handed for 40 minutes just so LeBron can cherry pick for cheap points. If I were his teammates, I would get everyone together and say we want LeBron gone, now

Bro, some of us were not only not happy about him coming here, but we wanted him gone year one when he wanted to trade all our young guys for AD and we wanted to trade him for AD, lol. Yes all he's done every year except the bubble is validate why we never embraced him and see him as the complete opposite of Mamba Mentality. True, there are still plenty of Laker fans that don't see it yet. I would say though you can find plenty who are way over the experience or finally coming to the conclusion.

@@alexandergrahamcracker5581 He's not arguably the best player ever, he's OBJECTIVELY the best player ever... he did 2 3-peats in 8 years (just wasn't playing between them) while he played with exactly one All-NBA talent next to him (Pippen) who was only selected 4 times... nobody has achieved more with less... people call his second 3-peat team a superteam but Rodman was fucking 35 years old as an UNDERSIZED, athletic rebounder which means wasn't even close to his peak... Sorry but LeBron with that same roster wouldn't have reached the Finals once... and would have called all of them scrubs, trash, useless and traded them all... every player that has left a Lebron led team has played BETTER after leaving... Lebron makes his teammates worse and it's blatantly obvious since not a single teammate of his has ever had his best season next to him... Analysts "worshiped" Jordan because they actually analyzed the games back then... and Jordan was the epitome of winning basketball... if you look at it objectively, he won 6 rings and in 5 of the matchups the opposing team had an equally stacked or even more stacked roster against him... the 93 Suns were stacked af... Jordan made them look inadequate... same with the Sonics... same with the Utah Jazz... Anyway, saying that Jordan won cause he was the "NBA's darling" is utter bullshit especially since back then they didn't give weak ass calls in the playoffs AT ALL!!!

It's funny how teams with quick guards/wings give the Lakers a lot of trouble. And that's cause the Lakers are playing 4 on 5 on defense. And when the opponent's guards blow by the perimeter defender Lebron never ever is there for help defense. The entire Lakers offense has to slow down for Lebron too. I'd love to see this Lakers team with AD as the focal point, AR as the 2nd option, and Rui as the 3rd option with DLo being able to distribute. We've seen DLo have 14 assists and 17 assists when Lebron doesn't play. That tells me if DLo was allowed to play like a traditional PG he'd be balling tf out. Last I checked the Lakers were last in drives to the basket, 3rd in fouls “called for” and last in fouls “called against”. Has anyone else noticed that everytime there’s a debate being the GOAT between MJ and LeFlop. The only thing they always brings up are LeFlops stats? Nothing else. Always the stats, as if that’s all it takes or is all they need to become considered GOAT. They haven’t got anything else in their arsenal except stats. We all know and I’m sure we can all agree that there is so much more than stats. And they seem to forget that of course he has higher stats in some areas, and that’s only because he’s been playing for over 20 seasons. And I have a feeling he’s trying to beat the longest one, I think it was Vince Carter for 22 seasons. So my message for LeFlop fans . ITS NOT ALWAYS ABOUT STATS AND RINGS. Example: The way MJ played, his quickness, athleticism, his mindset, the way he never gave up, he’s a 2 way player, he never quit on his team when they’re losing, he never walked off the court, he never flopped, he demolished all those who trashed talked him, his relentless, unstoppable and no weaknesses. He was feared by other players. What does LeFlop has besides stats?

True, and always LONGEVITY stats.. I've gotten so sick of wasting my time arguing with the same NPC with 1000 different names online.. seriously they all sound exactly the same.. thats how you know you're dealing with a brainwashed cult.

Its hard enough to WATCH let alone the pain of actually focusing on it and pusing, slow motion, editing ect.. I dont know how he does it without drinking his way through editing. I told my housemate the other day "I dont know how he does it, I actually feel sick watching such terrible basktball so closely" while watching Lbron games collecting evidenece. I dont know how anyone watched the game AT ALL any more, its not just Lefraud anymore.. and most of what these players do that sickens me all was normalied by Lebron. but when we say hes ruined the game.. they just cant understand what we mean??

This will never happen because bron doesn’t play enough to be injured, but it would just be perfect if the Lakers managed to win it all without Lebron and he got his 5th ring while doing nothing. What a poetically fitting end to this 20 year scam he calls a career

Even if hes on the bench.. or it happens the year AFTER he leaves.. he will get the credit somehow./ they always find some way to make it about him. LAST YEAR after He passed Kareem went straight to sitting our games while Lakers made a run to get them into playoffs..(with refs help, but refs were ALREADY helping).. All we hear his year is "Led Lakers to Eastern Conference Finals".. Or game against Celtics a while back "It was his Emoji motorvating them". .

Sent the gist of this in an email to AOH, but I had a hell of a time finding the 2021 Suns/Lakers series complete online. I have it now in HD. I had forgotten how many turnovers and awful shooting LeEPO had in that series. Also had forgotten that LA was up 2-1. Chris Paul was hurt from game 1 - 4, and AD hurt himself in game 4. But that team was STACKED with talent! Andre Drummond, Marc Gasol, Kuzma, Schroeder, MarQUEEF Morris - ton of big bodies. Anyway, that got me thinking - almost every time LeFraud loses in the playoffs, he loses 3 games in a row. Here's what I came up with: 2007 - Lost last 3 (sweep) 2010 - Lost 3 in a row, games 4,5,6 2011 - Lost 3 in a row, games 4,5,6 2014 - Lost 3 in a row, games 3,4,5 2015 - Lost 3 in a row, games 4,5,6 2018 - Lost 3 in a row (sweep) 2021 - Lost 3 in a row, games 4,5,6 2023 - Lost 3 in a row (sweep)

I don't even know how it got to the point where LeBron is being compared to MJ. As someone who watched both of these players, I wouldn't even consider it a contest. MJ is just on another level. That being said, that doesn't make LeBron shit. He's just not what we are being told by the media that he is. It would be much more beneficial for fans, the media, NBA and LeBron himself if they just saw him as a good player who is approaching his retirement. By no means can you call anyone who spends 21 years in NBA a bad player. However, I can also clearly see that he is not the GOAT (and that's Ok cause Jordan has set the bar way too high).

I wish the media didn’t create this narrative. Really destroyed the enjoyment of the game for fans & prevented LeBron from feeling the need to actually develop his skills & add to his game. He was blessed with the stature & athleticism that could’ve been the GOAT, but he doesn’t have the drive, skillset, or on-court/in-game character of a GOAT. He’s fairly close, compared to the masses of players, but there’s a substantial gap between him & Jordan & the reality is that there truly might be 2-3 guys between him & Jordan. And I wanted him to develop into the GOAT too. But the media says he’s long-since reached his potential, or exceeded his expectations. Literally set him up to believe he didn’t need to add skills. Just sad & pathetic.
