For those of us who take sports serious and have gained so much from sports, a lot more goes into how we look at athletes besides just the points they score,, it's what you do, what you say, how you do it and how you say it.... do you make us strive for greatness or do you promote using excuses when convenient?

Remember when MJ had stitches above his eyebrow and go no calls against Indiana in 1998. He did not complain and calmly stated that the Bulls will win game 7.

lebron said the heat was built from minimum guys on the podcast with jj redick. He was saying the real accomplishment was making the finals wiht that team. Come on man. 3 MVP caliber players who are franchise cornerstone players on the same team and he goes .500 on chips after saying he's going to get 7 championships. I think he's actually insecure because he knows he will always be chasing jordans shadow so now its him trying to control the narrative. It's deceitful just like his flopping and whining.

LeBron is synonymous with making excuses, throwing team mates and coaches under the bus, repeatedly cheating during games (yes, flopping IS in essence cheating), temper tantrums, narcissism, not giving respect to other greats, constant uncalled travelling violations and offensive fouls and in last several seasons resting while on court by not spending any of his energy on defensive assignments. Forget about MJ. LeBron, while an excellent player, is not in the same league as Kobe Bryant or Tim Duncan.

I respect LeBron for his game and for being a team player. I don't respect him for his politics or his continuous need to have his input in team decisions. I would guess not too many players enjoy being a teammate. I also respect the fact that he didn't go to college and made fortunes and has somehow managed to stay out of trouble.

You don’t respect his politics or his need to have input on team decisions? I could be wrong, but that sounds a bit like jealousy to me… 🤷🏽‍♂️ As an American tax paying citizen, he has the same right to voice his opinion as you, and I guarantee you you’d love to be able to pick who you get to work with on your own job. 🤦🏾‍♂️🤣 I’m not a KeBron fan at all, but he has paid his dues to do what he wants. Also , he managed to stay out of trouble because he made proper decisions in life… You mad about that too? Geeez. 🤣

@@johncummings5350 …You don’t have to know someone to be jealous of them. 🤣 You literally said you don’t respect his continuous need to pick his teammates…that makes no sense. Top players do it all the time…they’ve been doing it. You think Jordan didn’t have input on who came to the Bulls? 👀🤣 Jordan just didn’t run from team to team in order to win. He was definitely in on some of the roster choices after a certain point in his career. What is James being hypocritical about? Like I said earlier, you’d do the exact on your job if you could…plus you just said you don't know him, but he has a hypocritical lifestyle, so who’s really being hypocritical? 🤣 You sure have a strong opinion on someone "you don't know" or "you don't think about unless you see him on television" 🙂

@@jackieclark8253 He needs people to take the big shots and be a fall guy when he fail's. Lebrons rings were rank almost last on difficulty since the 80's. Dude aint a team player he is a stat padder who has no bag. He passes because he has to. If he had skills like Jordan he'd never pass

@@bdub1934 🙂🙂 I honestly believe he's still playing because he's still chasing Jordan. Don't get me wrong, playing this many years is a big deal, but workouts are better, equipment is better, league is much more offensive minded from the outside, everybody's shooting 3's, etc... Let some of these young dudes play in a pair of Chuck Taylor's and you'll see a bunch more sitting games out! 🙂🙂

Tip for future content. Don't build up 10 minutes to get to a clip. Keep a short introduction setting up what you are trying to convey with the clip, then show the clip, THEN talk about it. It will make it easier for a casual or non NBA fan to understand what you are talking about because you will have already SHOWN us the key context to your point. No hate, keep grinding.

Michael Jordan said the right things in the interview but behind the scenes was crying to David Stern to change the rules because he was too soft for the Pistons defense. And they literally changed the rules to help Jordan win. The main reason why we have evolved to today's league where defense is barely allowed.
