Lakers Lebron James was at the Cleveland Cavaliers game in which much speculation centered around Lakers Nation and the NBA general. Lakers News came out that Lebron had gone to the Cavs game in order to potientially recruit Darius Garland. Lakers landing Donovan Mitchell is the priority but Garland would be a solid alternative.

Problem with garland is he’s making almost 40 millions. I rather get a guy like sexton who’s making 18M or Murray making 25 M.

I am in on sexton as well. I would go all in with sexton and Lauri. Rui plus d lo or Reeves and draft picks for Sexton and Lauri !! However. Garland is on a good deal overall. Knowing he is making 36/39/42/44 is a great salary for him long term and gives us a dude that fits after James is done. Garland will also be less expensive in the realm of picks than a guy like Mitchell. Less competition. Only way I do it tho. Is with d lo and rui. Not moving Reeves in this deal. Reeves is too good on an absolute amazing contract. So no on that end!

Imagine thinking Garland is good defensively. Almost like you haven't watched a minute he has played. And no Garland playing off ball did not "work out okay". Lmao.

Looking at the Cleveland roster, aside from Darius Garland, they dont have a point guard. Trading Garland & his huge contract for a point guard in DLo & a PF in Rui would help them a lot in the Donovan Mitchell up & coming max extension & would also give them versatility in their frontline. If DLo agrees to a sing n trade for a longer deal, he & Rui + picks would be enough to acquire Garland. The Cavs only have a 158mil payroll for next season & can accomodate being hardcap if they accept a sign n trade w/ DLo. For sure, the Lakers wont include Reaves & Vando for Garland.

Once again your bias is on display. The Suns trade Chris Paul for a younger better player in Bradley Beal regardless of fit and you criticize it as the worse thing they could've done. But if the Lakers are in the position of acquiring Garland or Trae Young you'd prefer Young because he's the better player and the Lakers will "figure it out". Keep in mind the reason Atlanta is looking to trade either Young or Murray is because they're both too ball dominant to play with each other. But either of them with work with Lebron because, "It's the Lakers". smh

I wouldn’t go to the heat neither or the Knicks cause both of those teams already got a pg and he’s not go work well with terry rozier and plus the Miami heat they need some good bench players and the Knicks already got a pg that’s basically Donavan Mitchell 2.0 and they will be undersized if they get Mitchell and he’s not winning no damn ring in Brooklyn neither he mine as well go to the lakers

Much more than assessing their basketball abilities, LeEGO should first ask if the player would even want to play UNDER his Narcissistic Domination. Notice I did not say play WITH him, but UNDER him.

Damn! That's so true but not factual....Imagine coming from an home where you have little to NO-thing, being brought up by a single parent, and life looking glooming. Sport became an haven, basketball to be exact. You, began to excel in it. Well more than excel , the media, the fans then started to labeled 🏷 this fatherless kid as "Mr. Basketball " . What a kid like that supposed to have done? Dismissed it ? Yea Right ! This kid was in high school when the media started classifying him as the next nba superstar. Was that his fault ? Perhaps! He should not have been so good , so early. What an 18 yr old should've done when he never played a single college game, saw his situation when presented with the notion of becoming the number one draft pick for the best basketball league on the planet ? Tell me what that kid should have done ? Hey, what would you have done if you where in that very same position ? So, he took the bait and went from high school straight into the best basketball league on the planet and instantly became a multimillionaire. Yea, it's was a bait because he placed his narcissistic value so high before he ever stepped on an nba's court. He did all that, right ? In other words, we the fans aided also by the media houses created that narcissistic beast, and all he did was to play the sport he loves in a magnificent way and we simply could not contained ourselves. Was that his fault ? Really ? But that's how we are, we created these dudes because they entertained us beyond our happiness harmoness could handled. So when it reached a point after thousands of repetitive moments he started to believe in what you all have casts on him. Stuff like " The King", "The Chosen One ". In all honesty, tell me how could someone, so young, not end up feeling lordly, superior, and majestic, called upon to deliver a franchise from basketball purgatory not being reciprocal in his demeanor, actions, and reactions. In other words, he has simply returned what you all have given him. MJ & Kobe never had that prior to been drafted. Never!!!! From an intrinsic perspective he's not narcissistic. It's us that created this MF and when he's not delivering we began to draw comparison between him and some other Narcissist we have created. It is Us. All Us !! So in some sense he has displayed those traits[true] but that's a facade or mask to please his fans and the media. By nature that's not him. His game suggest otherwise. If you had told me that MJ or Kobe was a narcissist, I would've said yes without hesitation but not Lebron. Lebron to me comes across as a "Mama's boy"

@@plnthn you don't really expect me to read your dissertation, do you? 2 questions: have you ever played the game? and How long have you followed Basketball? MY answers would be 1. Yes, at a low level, but on the court everyday from the ages of 13 to 22. and 2. over 50 years. I think I have some knowledge of the game. Just look at the biggest stars in the NBA: the best of the best are foreign born, and their teams are winning. Meanwhile, American stars, other than Curry, beat their chests and show no loyalty to their teams or teammates in pursuit of fame and rings. Notice the order listed there. Americans prioritize money and the lifestyle, while foreigners have the integrity to excel at their jobs, and know that their job is to win. Culture Clash.
@plnthn

@jameschan9634 I really did expect you to read it all. Because you're probably responding to something I haven't stated. Because I haven't disagreed with the essence of your arguments, just expand it a bit to give a more enlightening perspective. Well, I don't know how old you're. I am basically a very young 60. Knowledge of the game, perhaps I'm like the avg fan. I never played the game at any level competitively, but that has nothing to do with whether a person is a narcissist or not. Isn't that the core or the center of your previous arguments ? But then again, you haven't read my so-called dissertation. So, you haven't put out anything for me to support or rebut. Foreign players taking over a country's national sports is nothing new on the planet. It happens in most team sports across the globe for obvious reasons. Humans acting in a particular way, from a psychological perspective, isn't synonymous with local based players. It is, in fact , a human issue (narcissism). It doesn't matter your ethnicity or whatever sociological terms you want to use. Lebron was created by the media and fans before he climbed into the nba.

Rajon rondo in 2020. Steph is not a PG. he’s 6’2 and on paper plays the 1 but in court he’s a SG with strong handles and great basketball IQ. Draymond is pretty much their PG.
