Myles Turner is probably not worth 2 first objectively but do it anyway. Why? Because his shooting unlocks lineups with Vando. Imagine having Turner ,DFS, Vando, Max and Reeves out there. LeBron and AD could both rest and the defense of those 5 could hold the lead Bron and AD built.

You got the right idea but Hayes instead of JHS. This is a great lineup if you can get Wood back at backup C. Would have to choose between Gabe or Cam to be out the 10 man lineup, which is why Id also go in on a Lonzo trade. Gabe, Max JHS for Lonzo would put the Lakers in the 2-3 seed & capable of beating 1. I think they would have the best defense in the NBA & a top 5-7 offense too. Lonzo DFS Bron AD Turner, Reaves K4 Cam Vando Wood/Koloko. I just don’t see what is in it for the Indiana Pacers to trade Myles turner to the lakers. Their 5th in the East, they made it to the conference finals last year, and now they just trade off a 2 way inside out center who averaged 17/7/2 shooting 45% from the Arc off 5 attempts during the playoffs last year? Lakers can’t match that production. Plus they’ll be down a center and have to depend on Isaiah Jackson. I just don’t see what you could give them… they’re a little thin in the small forward position which I suppose you can give them Rui to replace Nesmith. I don’t think you can get away with *RUI + JAXON + JHS + Protected 1st Rd Pick 🔁 MYLES TURNER + Hornets 2nd rd pick* They round out their small forward position with a really good shooter and size. They get a replaceable center who’s young and athletic and also has an expiring contract. As well as an expiring contract with JHS which allows them to make moves in the free agency. The only other trade I could think of that would make sense for Indiana Pacers would be Rui + Dalton 🔁 Myles turner.

It would probably be a good idea to gain some perspective on what Indiana would want for Turner. I know for a fact there’s not a single person in Indiana that wants Rui Hachimura or Jalen Hood Schifino like even a little bit. They have two or three better players at both their positions so it would make no sense at all. Also, both of the backup centers they had to start the season tore their Achilles tendons that’s why they had to go get Thomas Bryant. They would need a center back in any trade they do for Turner, simply because they don’t have that depth due to injuries. That’s why there is basically no chance at all that this trade happens sorry.

If I were running the team, I’m not trading for Turner because I feel like it’s in our best interest to tear down the team and rebuild this off-season. Because OKC, Houston, SA, Memphis are all young and going to get better and we definitely aren’t winning a title next year. They should pay him but it appears to be friction between him and the front office that’s gone on for years. They tried to sign Deandre Ayton with Turner still on the roster, making an, in retrospect, ridiculous offer for him during his RFA until the Suns matched the offer sheet. Myles’ name previously came up in trade talks all the time until they made a run in the play-in tournament last year. Where there’s smoke there’s a fire. Never forget Myles actually went on TV a few years ago and was selling himself and his skill set to the Lakers to get them to trade for him. Right now his game would objectively fit next to AD’s better than any other center in the league and that actually includes Kessler.
