The disrespect on Klay is crazy. He was asked to do too many things on the warriors with how bad Steph is defensively and the supporting cast was horrible. Draymond missed a lot of time, CP3 missed a lot of time. It was rough for him to get good shots up. The lakers will give him quality time & not ask him to guard elite wings or guards. I think people are crazy. And you get a knockdown shooter. He made 42% of his catch & shoot 3’s on an off year. He would’ve broken the lakers 3 point record last year on one of his worst years lol. Rob made nice moves the past couple years but none have been ELITE moves, Needle Moving moves or Mind Blowing moves Just good average moves. As a legit GM he needs to pull in a few Championship Caliber Guys, Elite Needle Moving Pieces. Need to add at least a couple Championship Elite guys to the Roster.

Klay is one of the greatest shooters of all time. You have to put that kind of player with LeBron. Even this version of Klay would help this team out tremendously with spacing. Klay can be our 2013 version of Ray Allen at least, but I still think Klay has another great run in him especially if you add him to this squad. Imo Klay is a must grab and LeBron is mainly taking a pay cut for Klay.

LeBron also wanted to play with Ty Lue Caruso DeRozan before Westbrook Kyrie Lakers actual decision makers said NO to all 4 of those (lowballed all 4 on money & yrs), but they couldn’t say no to past prime, horrid fit, worst contract by far Westbrook 45-50 million per year?!?! GTFOH. Lakers would be way better if Pelinka (who should be fired clearly and would be by great ownership) and Jeanie Buss had listened to LeBron given they’d right now have Ty Lue, Caruso, DeRozan &/or Kyrie! LeBron doesn’t get credit (rightly) for 19-20 20-21 good rosters that made sense so he also shouldn’t get blamed for any bad moves that happen (especially when Lakers have literally said no to what he wanted a ton of times). The sad OBJECTIVE truth is if Lakers had a deep pockets (and/or HOF Dr Buss type) owner + Jerry West, RC Buford, Presti, Bob Myers, Stevens, Connelly type GM they’d be in MUCH better shape then 2022-2025 Lakers. Or had they just listened to what “LeGM” actually wanted for Ty Lue, Caruso, DeRozan, Kyrie. I’m sure LeBron didn’t want Lakers to give away Brooke Lopez the yr before he came or Zubac his first year there, or draft JHS vs trade it or draft someone more ready now etc etc. Every GM/ownership group asks for their all nba levels thoughts but they’re ALWAYS responsible for the final decision PERIOD! Even had they actually done everything LeBron wanted that would be bad for lakers also. They clearly didn’t based on historical facts saying otherwise overall.
