3-point shooting will make or break the Lakers because defenses must worry about Anthony Davis at the rim and must stop Lebron James as a slasher. All defenders are taught to protect the rim 1st = 3 defenders clogging the paint.

Danny Green was breaking down in the post-season last year, he was unplayable during the finals in spite of his consistently excellent defense, constantly grabbing his lower back in discomfort whilst running like Charles Barkley today. Danny's shot was off the whole postseason and when he's not knocking 3's down and creating attention for the D, he's a useless offensive player because he can only spot up for J's. Fred Van Vleet's excellent post-season occurred because of Danny's poor offensive playing, opening up more minutes than might have been there if Green shot nearly as well as he did during the reg season

That's been Green in the playoffs the last 4/5 years. He's averaged around 32% from 3 in the last 3 playoffs. Lakers are thin on perimeter defenders & DG will have to really shoulder the load, I forsee another bad playoff run for him.
