A report just came out about how Warriors owner Joe Lacob was using a manipulative negotiating tactic with Klay, which he had done with other players, where he would ignore them and be cold, hoping they would come back to the negotiating table, begging to sign a new deal with the team. Frankly, after seeing that, I don't blame Klay for leaving. As a Warrior fan, that really makes me question the amount of respect Lacob has for his players. Instead of playing mind games, he should be having an open dialogue, without all of these sneaky, manipulating tactics.

In theory, this is the best spot for Klay. He's playing with a ball dominant dude who often passes the ball late, when the defense had already collapsed. Klay can go back to being strictly a catch and shoot player. Now can he be an elite shooter again? We shall see. But in theory, just the style of play, Klay's a perfect fit.

Like Draymond said, the Warriors are probably the last NBA dynasty. With the penalties and taxes teams have to deal with, a top tier team can't even build itself out, let alone pay its players. I don't blame the Warriors for not wanting to spend $180 million in salary and $200 million in taxes.

He ultimately has the power in that organization and he ain’t demanding things to be changed. He’d rather stick with loyalty, and don’t get me wrong it’s honorable. Every team has a player management systemthat decides what to do and which path to take. It's not his fault that they maintain that culture of respect towards the management by letting them do their job. Let's say Curry do a LeGM move and it didn't pan out, then aren't you one of those people who will criticize him for doing? You're doing it with Bron.

Bob Myers really left Dunleavy in a bind, when he quit. I imagine the price to make a deal for Markkanen will be very high. Losing Kuminga would be a HUGE deal for GSW but, one major issue last year was Wiggins being absolute trash. Wiggins + Kuminga + Moody for Markkanen + Clarkson. I'd be down for this opportunity to change the roster in a meaningful way and try to be competitive this season. We need a major swing to help Steph play on a contender next season.

I agree with everything except for trading Moody. He's a baller and I wouldn't want to lose another shooter. I admire Wiggins but he's dipped off the radar and isn't competing at the same level in '22. Klay is looking for something his legs can’t do consistently anymore, especially the one that was injured. You can’t beat father, he is undefeated. 😊

It was about the team---Klay was good--but the last few years he was more of a role player----off the bench--- 3-point percentage down. What do you do---gamble against injury or pay young guys with better d and higher shooting %

The warriors are on a process that fans have got to respect, I still believe the need a top scorer to contend, get rid of Wiggins if needed but as the current roaster is it will be a wasted season fir Curry.

Nobody has a stronger gravity pull than Steph Curry. If Klay couldn't make his shots with him, I doubt it's gonna be much better with Luka. Unless it really was judt a off year for him. Who knows. We will find out nexr season
