You can’t count on AR or DLO. Only role player you can count on rn is Rui. AR and DLO are so inconsistent on offense and both of them just get targeted on defense and get cooked. I really think when Vando comes back we need to bring AR of the bench. It would solve a ton of problems. DLO would have the ball a lot more. Our backcourt would be absolutely horrendous on defense anymore. And our bench would actually have some depth and hopefully Austin’s scoring would be more consistent off the bench.

Agree...there's too much redundancy with Dlo & AR starting. One's performance too often subtracts from the other's. It also doesn't make any sense from a strategic/efficacy standpoint to place all of your firepower on the frontlines...that's only a recipe for winning specific battles. In order to win a war, you always have to keep some of your dry powder on the bench. I would actually start Knecht as SG ("prove himself" minutes). Utilizing AR off the bench would provide more steady firepower & leadership, which could be a better spark/tandem for Max's game...similar to how Dlo provides the spark for AD's game. I'd also give Quincy more minutes (in place of Gabe or Max). He's a proven scorer & an energy man on both ends of the court...probably one of the more conditioned, hard-working players on this team. But of course the Lakers' recipe for playtime relies more on pay scale than performance. Afraid it's going to be the same old formula of putting egos/$ ahead of common sense imo.

Dalton Knecht: 7.7 ppg, 1.3 rebs, 1.2 asts, 44% FG, 34% 3pt... Calling those REALY GOOD numbers is a bit of an overstatement (tho, compared to the rest of our reserves, those are high numbers). They're fine for rookie numbers. I really like Knecht, and see good things in his future.

Nope AR-15 at point then Dalton at Sg Rui LBJ Davis, and have DLO to the beach because he’s always getting target versus all the starters on every team so rather have him come off the bench because Austin Reeves has been way more efficient than D’Angelo Russell. I guarantee you that D’Angelo Russell will find a way better shooting rhythm coming off the bench and give us that spark, and teams won’t be targeting him, mainly the opposing starters which have been killing us. hayes been great for his role. Kencht need more shots off the bench, i think he should be taking like 7-10 shots a game considering how offensively weak our bench is. Gabe Vincent seems like he have no interest in scoring but his defense has been better than DLO's at least. Dlo doesn't even need to be on the starting unit for them to outscore teams on 2 quatres. But we have to hold those leads. We have the same problrem. Here is an idea. Why don’t they give Cam a shot? He is one of the Best on ball defenders we have and can pick-up full court. Last season he was a fixture in the rotation until he was injured. I am a Fan of Max Christie but Max isn’t getting it Done. Gabe Vincent is turning out to be a duplicate of Kendrick Nunn. Dlo is a complete and total Defensive Liability but is the best offensive option. The Raptor Game was a Joke. Four of their Top Players out of the lineup. How is this any different than what Ham tried at points last season? And the spin was D-Lo, Austin, and Rui should have been playing as a unit the whole time. Now it's supposed to be a novel concept? It's born of the fact that they have 3 starters who couldn't spell defense if you spotted them the d thru s. And a 4th starter who can only play it in short spells. Nunn....I mean Vando might help if his tootsies ever heal. Wood is another sieve defensively.

The biggest problem with Ham is that his offense was stagnant and don't know how to adjust. We can see that in last years playoffs, we were moving the ball well at the 1st half and then suddenly rely on isolation on the 2nd like wtf. When Dlo was handling the ball in playoffs, The offense was kinda smooth even though he CANT HIT OPEN LAYUPS AND THREES it was still better than Lebron and AD iso on the high post which led everyone stagnant with no rhythm. He didn't get that much opportunity playmaking so he ended up being outright a liability. This year however, especially on opening night, even though Dlo ended up having a terrible statline, He ended up doing everything well except shooting the ball and navigating screens on defense. JJ's offense unlock a bunch of things like Dlo and Ad's playmaking, and Lebron, Rui, and Austin's Off-ball offense. On defense we can't do much since our roster is full of guards with injured wings but maybe use Reddish more. So to your point, JJ's offense unlocked some of our players' game so some of the lineups which might not work with Ham might work with JJ. Just like when Ham entered, we were like "Finally, let Bron handle instead of Westbrook" but as time goes on, with a different roster we can see that that didn't work anymore so we were very critical with Ham not adjusting which might led him to being fired. TBF, it's still very early on the season so we'll see how things work out.
