I don’t mind DFS. He’s one of the players we needed. I still would love to see us get Chris Boucher, Nick Richards, Jalen Duren or Bones Hyland. Look them up. Each has what we need. Boucher is 6’9” with a 7’4” wingspan who can play 3/4 and can shoot. Jalen is a rebounding and defensive beast. Nick is a young, cheap option at the 5. And Bones is a supreme upside talent wasting away with the Clippers. We can use any and all of these guys.

The Dlo trade off is worth it. Yes DLo is more talented than DFS. However his ceiling raising performances while entertaining and won lakers games were still fleeting. DFS will drastically raise the lakers floor and allow them to be more competitive every single game. I see DFS replacing RUI in the starting lineup. He can defend 1-4 while still having size, rebounding, perimeter mobility, and spacing. That starting lineup will be jacked! Rui off the bench works as well as he can become the 2nd or 3rd scoring option and get run that way. The lakers could even supersize by having Dorian at the 2 💀. Reeves DFS Rui LBJ AD That’s a MONSTER SIZED lineup that could hungry hippo apposing teams. Teams will run out of bodies with that lineup
